Hotel Arte Vida Tarifa

The hotel manager/owner Niko are very hospitable and friendly. He even wake up at 6am just to provide us some coffee and croissant and fruits before we catch our Ferry in Tarifa. The rooms and location are lovely and cozy. Just be careful driving towards the RV parking...road needs maintenance and it will be helpful to have a bigger Sign for the hotel. Restaurant food looks delicious too.

Great place directly on the wide sandy beach, secluded and quiet setting, very friendly staff, rooms conveniently equipped, you step out of the room and stand right on the beach - awesome! Food delicious with view across the ocean to Marocco and freshly grilled fish - esp. the snapper was great!

Such a fantastic getaway no frills place to chill, walk straight out onto the white sands and walk for miles..

Brilliant 3 days, great staff, great food, fab location. Only let down are the beds, which are OK if you like soft squidgy mattress.If you don't it can be a tough nights sleep.

This place is in my heart I used to come here with friends and now I’m coming as a mom with my family and it’s just always amazing and cosy. The food is delicious and a bit expensive but the service is perfect everyone is so friendly. I had to pay by card so I would normally tip on the card however the stuff is not allowed to accept tips on the card. Therefore I am as really disappointed that I could not leave a tip and if I can suggest to the owner this would be nice if possible . Otherwise everything is perfect x

My daughter and I stopped at Arte Vida for one night on July 3, 2019 before leaving for Tangier early next morning. Hotel is very cute and right on the beach with beautiful views of Africa in the far! Rooms are very clean, but extremely small with minimal furniture, but nobody stays inside. You are there for the outdoors and the views! The grounds are nice and super cozy with grassy area and countless lounge chairs/ beds and hanging swing chairs facing the Ocean with direct access to the beach. Super low key, relaxing and fun! We had a great evening! We needed to leave the hotel next morning at 7:00 am to catch the ferry to Tangier. The owner told us that the breakfast was served at 9 am everyday, but she said she would prepare breakfast bag to take with us in the morning. When we went to pick up the bags with food at 6:30 am, we got very surprised with a beautiful breakfast buffet set up just for two of us with a very nice young man helping us to make sure we had everything we need to eat and leave the hotel on time. So we sat down and had a beautiful breakfast outdoor overlooking the Ocean. Also, unfortunately, one week earlier, on the day I arrived in Barcelona from Chicago, my phone was stolen on a city train. So I had no phone throughout my entire 2 week trip through Spain and Morocco! My entire itinerary was in that phone! So I was in big trouble!The owners were sooooo gracious and allowed me make phone calls to Barcelona without accepting any money for it! I insisted to pay, but they said that they saw I was in trouble and that was the least they could do for me to help!!
The hospitality of the owners exceeded my highest expectations! Incredible, amazing human beings! I can't thank them enough! Beautiful place and beautiful people!!!

Excellent hotel to hang out with a view on the ocean! You here the sound of the waves in your bed and can lay on a lawn for sunbathing right in front of the beach. The hotel also has a nice little bar and a very good restaurant. Both of the service guys are very nice! Both of the times we went there we had a very nice stay!!!o

The best is the beautifull location on the beach and private sunbeds for hotel guests with sea view. The beach bar is very cool and animated, nice music. Incredible views of Africa. friendly staff, and it´s good food in a restaurant, may be bit expensive. Sunset is incredible to see from the beach bar.

Arte vida in Tarifa what can you say about this place except that it’s an amazing location right on the beach front do you really have to book early to get any stay in the hotel the beach bar is amazing with the grassy banks leading down to the beach with perfect views of all of the beach really amazing places.

The restaurant is OK has some nice dishes of the day you can relax and enjoy your lunch instead of bringing Sandy sandwiches to the beach.

The staff are always OK sometimes very stressed as you can imagine the beach bag it’s very full with the music loud all day.

If you like the beach by lifestyle with a bit of music right on the front of the beach within this place is perfect for you if you like Surf and windsurfing Kitesurfing they got it all right here.

An excellent lunch of spicy tuna and tomato salad. Friendly service and a low key relaxed vibe. Part of me wanted just to stop and crash here for a few days.

Every time we go to Cadiz, this is a must visit for lunch and drinks!

We had a great time at Arte Vida. The location at the beach is incredibel. They have a very good restaurant en all staff was super friendly. Good beds.We will come again.

Can you imagine jumping out of bed to your kite or surf board enjoying the sea and wind of Tarifa, great food reserve is a must, plus great after hours beach music and drinks sinking in the great sunset.

Didn't stay in the hotel but a friend and I dropped into the beach bar for a couple of beers by the beach in mid October as it was a sunny hot day. Nice views and relaxed setting.

Restaurant Hotel Arte vida is probably one of the nicest ocean view restaurants on the Costa de la Luz. The menu offered consists of the Mediterranean and Thai cuisine. Attentive service. We recommend to go with lunch and see all the kitesurfing action what take place in front of the hotel.

Music, cocktails and beach. Really good restaurant. Location is fantastic and if you like water sports is the place to be.
