What a fantastic place near Tarifa Spain. Plenty of parking, great menu, reasonable prices. The steak was amazing, and they bring you a hot plate if you want to cook it more.

It's a gorgeous local restaurant. Worth a visit for sure. And a short distance from the downtown area. They have WiFi as well. Outdoor seating is available. It was a very lovely and local vibe.

Stumbled across El Rancho by accident while searching for a tapas restaurant around Tarifa. Couldnt find a place to park in Tarifa so we googled the nearest place to eat which was El Rancho.
The place looked deserted but we tried it anyway. We speak very little Spanish and the waiter spoke 'poco' English but this wasnt an issue. A very warm welcome and English menus. All the customers were Spanish which for us was a good sign. 4 meals were ordered 2 x pork mains 1 Fried Calamaris and a Steak.
All meals were amazing and big portions! The steak was possibly the biggest steak ive ever eaten and cooked (med/rare) to perfection.

I loved this family runned hotel & restaurant. We had a great evening. Not only the Jamón Serrano tastes extraordinary, but we we were served in a very nice way by both brothers and their father. One brother & his mom coocked beautiful food. Most ‘Spanish’ place I visited in Tarifa so far. Will bring all my visitors to this place.

This is a must when in the area. Fantastic beef… especially the carne de res tinto, a local smaller cow with ginger fur… the beef is soft like butter. They also have great wines… embrace to speak Espanol!

Since 2009 I come every year to this typical Andalusian, family run restaurant. Excellent meals, served by very nice people in a nice, classic, Spanish environment. Besides having excellent wines and beef, they offer fish and seafood in excellent quality. Keep cooking with passion, we'll be back as soon as possible ;-)

The service is very friendly. The food includes steaks and dishes that are served in a lovely way and taste superb. I could go on and on but would simply say you should try for yourselves

Fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious. Best we’ve had in a long time! The servings were big so we didn’t have space left to try out their cheesecake (but it looked delicious as well!). The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly! As a cherry on top, they had live flamenco music. Definitely will be coming back and 100% recommended!

At Night they open the outside area and it's a very nice space. Food was awesome and good atmosphere. On weekends they have a flamenco show

Very good! They have their own animals, so the meat is fresh and very well made in the grill. Very generous portions! I loved it!
