Sun Palace Albir

1 night stay. Reasonable price. Very pleasant. Not sure I would rate this a 4* Hotel.
However, Excellent service all round. Uphill walk but free shuttle bus and scooter hire available if you need. Hotel is somewhat dated (don't be fooled by photos), including the exterior and interior. Circa 1970s style.
It looks like a regular block of apartments from the outside. Spacious lounge area indoor and outdoor.
Lovely gardens and pool.
Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious and simply furnished. Fridge in room. We appreciated the English TV channels.
A Nice Partial sea and mountain view. Nice balcony. No sound proofing, can hear other guests (baby crying) and road noise. No refreshments/kettle in room.
This hotel is Frequented by mostly Germans, so a good sign ;)
A blowing in the wind emergency exit door near our room was addressed promptly.
Breakfast buffet was great, lots of choice, hot and cold food.
Recommended for a retro- style, yet simple Hotel.
The spa and indoor pool at an extra cost. The gym is free.👍

I was a bit sceptical after reading some reviews , pls don’t let this put you off . We were greeted by Jose in reception who was a delight , asked us for our phone number so he could let us know when our room was ready ( we arrived at 12.00 , within 30 mins he rang us . The room I had paid for was a sea view with an en extra large bed ! We were not disappointed , the room was spotless and smelt gorgeous . Bedding was spotless and a lovely array of toiletries ! There is a complimentary shuttle bus that takes you down to the sea front and picks you up ! Use it , it’s fab . The breakfast was gorgeous lots of choice and hot !!!! Would definitely stay here again !

Ideal hotel for people who want to escape from everyday noise. Very good food with a lot of choice. The bar with a lovely smooth jazz music. Rooms with comfortable beds, cleaned every day. I spent beautiful time with my partner, we celebrated our anniversary.

We just got back from a 7 night trip, halfboard. We had a great time, the staff are super helpful :) we never used the pool at all since the beach is so close and they even let us use the spa showers on the day we checked out so we got to go to the beach on our last day too! all in all we had a great time with no complaints and we would not hesitate to go back again.. The sea is amazing :)

We are very satisfied with this hotel. Best vacation ever. Everything was awesome, especially staff. They should get raise. How they talking to guests is very rare. Every single our question or request was directly done. We love it here and we definitely come back again. Thank you Sun Palace Albir for great times here. We never forget!

Wonderful hotel with the best staff I have ever seen.beautiful pool & gardens.restaurant service first class with good choice of first class food.If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to go.We will definitely be back again soon

An absolute lovely week stay. A credit to all the staff who were all very polite and friendly. Great live entertainment most nights and the food is 1st class. A very well run and maintained establishment I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Had a great time here with friends, it's not in Alicante but Nearer Altea. If your looking to avoid the crush of Benidorm and not into that type of holiday this is a great choice. It's all inclusive choice worked well for our group. We didn't expect cordon blu and didn't get it , but the food the chefs produced was more than ample morning noon and night.
The beers and drink likewise ample. Staff were great and poolside service good also.
The Spa offers big towels for a €20 deposit that you get back at end and they exchange them every 3 days.
If you are an early check out you can extend room stay for another €20.
And best of all they don't tolerate sun bed grabbers - nothing funnier than watching staff walking round and removing towels then seeing the bed grabbers arrive an hour + later to find they have no beds 😂

Where at Sun Palace for 2 weeks with our six year old daughter.

We had an amazing time, food was nice, staff was nice, rooms clean and swimming pool fine if you just like to have some relaxing moments and you don't need Slides.

Serverino was our number one. He knows how it works. Talks with customers, high fives our daughter, etc etc! We loved him, great guy!

Same for Alex 1 and 2 ( Bar ) and Jose ( restaurant ) and a lot of others!

Yolanda ( Reception ) should be more positive. Certainly when we left at 6 o clock at night. No thank you for staying or what so ever. Yolanda if you read this. Just smile to your guests!

Great hostel, friendly service, beautiful location, nice swimming pool area. Everything is perfect. Just make sure you have irons and ironing tables. That seems silly but very important to those who need it.

The hotel is very Nice itself, The rooms and The cleaning of The rooms Are amazing!
The people who work there, Are welcoming and friendly.. they Can allways cheer you up.

Great view and polite staff. Fab hotel with all the amenities that one need for a quiet break. Sea in walking distance. Promenade clean and invites you to make the short walk to Altea

Really welcoming, great hotel, staff and amenities great standard, food on the button! Would recommend for short and long stays!

Went for a long weekend with my daughter just the two of us it was just great. Food great, staff great, spa great, swimming great, hotel clean and tidy.

Nice little hotel. Quite a bit of a walk up from the bus though. Muy bueno!
