El Mosset De L'albir

It was among the best food and drink experiences we had in Alicante Province. The portions are big enough to share with friends, but even so we couldn’t eat all the food we ordered (we got the rest to-go). Excellent fish and seafood dishes, excellent meat dishes (even the more peculiar ones), but also good wine selection and local beverages. And the service, the friendliest service possible. They made us feel really welcome and helped us truly enjoy our evening

The steamed mussels (though a tad too salty) and the calamar come gamba were para chuparse el dedos 🤤

The food here was fantastic. I am a cheese lover and the grilled cheese is something i will be thinking about for a long time. The croquettes were so creamy and crispy. The calamari was the best I have ever tasted. The patatas bravas were the perfect amount of spice and tomato. The nachos were devoured by the children. 5 stars. It's the first place I will eat in when I come back next year!

Came here at 8 o’ clock, were still very welcome. The food was great ( Really take the tenderloin with chimmichurro!). John was also very nice and hospitable, we loved his service! When back in Al Bir, we will definitly visit again

We went for tapas with our family of four. When we arrived at 20.45 the terrace was still empty, but inside there was a decent crowd. Within an hour all the tables outside were full as well. Mostly with spanish people, which convinced us that the local food must be good and no ‘tourist-trap’ bad tapas place. The tapas was a bit more pricey (appr 15 euro p tapas) but the amount of food was decent and it tasted really good! However, the best part of the evening was definitely our host/waiter Daniel! He was so kind and professional. A real experienced host who had a good eye for whatever his customers needed. He was running a full terrace mostly by himself and came to appologize for not having more attention for us due to the busy night. Eventhough we were totally satisfied with his service and never felt neglected, it was very polite that he mentioned it. Thank you Daniel for the great service!

great place with original tapas

A rear place of originality and honesty in this tourist factory village. Had a fantastic Spanish lunch....

Lovely restaurant. Fantastic waitress - happy & friendly; good English too hahaha. Thank you Guardolupe (?). I just wanted mussels & a glass of wine! Lovely they were, as was the stack of aubergine chips with a dip that my friend enjoyed! We will return.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We've traveled through the whole coast of southern Spain and that's the best place we've eaten. We have ordered the Nachos and Dogfish and wanted to try more but it was so big that we couldn't fit anything else. Spectacular Mistella as a dessert as well. And we only payed 25 euro. If anyone gives them less than 5 stars they don't know anything about food.

Outstanding evening! The food is beautifully fresh and prepared with real care. Lovely people too; owner Pepe and waiter Jorge took great care of us, a young waitress gave us great wine tips, too. Cute place, cozy and very comfortable. Loved it!

This is a very friendly restaurant with beautiful food and drinks at reasonable prices . The staff will advise on what to eat , and are pleasant and friendly . I love going and always have a lovely meal . In fact I come times just go for a beer and tapa and enjoy that as much !

The place to be in Albir for authentic spanish food. The tapas were excellent. Service impeccable. It is recommended to make reservations.

This is one of the restaurants where the locals go, and if you have been there, you will understand why. Very nice local food, and very nice people working there. I had their mussels last time, wonderful meal.

Came for tapas and wine - both delicious, but by far the best was - Jorge - he helped us with all recommendations on wine and food but also on the amount which allowed us to really enjoy the whole day

Just excellent. You may find this place a little more expensive compared to the typical touristy restaurants of Albir, but you'll get what you pay for, and then some! Great food and great service.
