An unexpected delight with a temporary Dali exhibition as well as the excellent permanent items. And all free. Most items have descriptions in Spanish/Castellan/English. Worthwhile!

Free to enter with displays on 3 floors from old to more modern Spanish paintings. Housed in an old 18th century palace right in the heart of the old town. Not for kids but well done.

Lovely little art museum in Alicante. It's free to enter as well! Unfortunately during my visit the second floor was closed, but that just means I can visit again when in Alicante! Staff are friendly and helpful as well. Worth the visit!

A place to go for art lovers. Nicely curated exhibitions of local artists. No crowds here so you can enjoy the art and escape from the city buzz and summer heat.

Great gallery. The building has a lovely, timeless quality, with ancient stone walls and beautiful wooden floors. Can't believe that it is free to get in. The quality of the art is amazing for a small city. I also noticed that the paintings displayed were very different to last years, which says alot about what a decent collection they must own and how thoughtfully it is curated.

Small. Intimate. Worth a visit. One hour plus would suffice.
Some paintings with English translation - Picasso’s teacher being one of them.
Enjoyed a free musical evening - piano & student classical singers

This a hidden gem. They have a small but beautiful collection by local artists from the 19 and early 20 century. Just wonder why I don't know any Spanish artists than Picasso and Dali.
No English, free entrance.
