This was our last stop on the Camino Portuguese and it was perfect. The hosts are fabulous, the food fantastic, the rooms comfortable and the location beautiful.

Exceptional place to stay on the way to SdC in a rural setting. This was the most memorable stay on our Galician trip. The short detour from the Camino is well worth it. While the rustic decor was warm and beautiful, the service and the hosts were even better. Wish we could have stayed longer and would return any time we can get the opportunity.

I have no words to describe this place. It is the best place I have ever stayed in! The hospitality of the hosts is indescribable. They make you feel at home from minute 0. The breakfast they make is absolutely superb! Our room was very cute, cozy and comfortable. The common areas are also very cozy. We had a problem with the location and Diego came to pick us up! He was very helpful and very chill about it. We were treated unlike anywhere else! Really really excellent!

After a long, enduring walk, only 16 km away from the final destination, it’s hard to imagine taking a small detour and time to let go, to relax. Why spend the time and money when you are so close? The answer is (1) the scenery; (2) the accommodations; and (3) the hospitality. Located off the beaten path and in a quiet rural neighborhood, you will find beautiful old houses, stretches of green land with sweet goats and a horse, and kind neighbors. Immediately upon arrival, we were welcomed by the couple who made our stay worthwhile. The room had hot water, a comfortable bed, and plenty of space for two people. Is your room a bit smaller or you want access to a bit better wifi? Easy, you are welcome to wander the property, weaving through a beautiful interior of the main house with books, a game room, tea, and strong internet with comfortable seating. By and far the best part of the stay was the hospitality. The lovely couple engaged with us in conversation while also giving us space to just be if we desired. They went out of their way to make the stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. This Casa is clean, spacious, and easy to get swept up in as a home away from home. Even the neighbors nearby welcomed us into their yards, showing us their gardens and animals. It’s easy to walk around with a glass of wine and see the extended beauty of the neighborhood, and though a lovely breakfast is included (all delicious), you can purchase beer, wine, and snacks for a very reasonable price. The managers work very hard to make your stay bright and memorable. This was such a warm and wonderful stay, the final stretch of walk to Santiago de Compostela seemed like a breeze. They even show you how to easily get back to the Camino without taking the long stretch of main road back. Truly, truly wonderful stay. Exceptional hospitality. Well worth every penny. Stay here.

Diego & Sing are excellent hosts who understand what “Customer Experience” means in the hospitality business. They graciously provided a world class community dinner for the Camino walkers and catered for my wife’s gluten free dietary needs. The location is idyllic, quiet so that weary Camino walkers can get a good night’s sleep. If you want to be pampered by caring hosts and enjoy some good food & beverages, I would recommend that you include this venue in your itinerary.

This was one of the top two places we stayed during our Camino Portugués. Such a beautiful oasis in the countryside (be sure to check out the neighborhood goats). Diego and his wife are wonderful in taking care of pilgrims, even doing our laundry for no charge. Dinner was a beautiful spread and a chance to commune with other guests who became friends.

Diego and Xin were fantastic hosts. Their guest house is very well laid out, the service was excellent! Everything was clean and both went all out to make sure our stay was a good one. We had a great recommendation for lunch, dinner was included all together with the other Peregrinos, and we had a great breakfast as well.
Highly recommended!

The most welcoming hosts you could ever ask for! They were so accommodating and gave us the best reccomendations for discovering the area (they really know thier stuff!) On a 10 day road trip through Spain this was by far our favourite accommodation. Very affordable, clean and aesthetically pleasing. I would always come back here!

The house is absolutely charming, with excellent accommodations. I stayed there one night with my friend, both of us on pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. We contacted Diego, the host, about our arrival. He was so friendly and welcoming as if we were family. We felt even more at home, when Diego and his wife Xin opened the door for us. Their warmth, kindness, and thoughtfulness are beyond measure. Supper and breakfast were served elegantly, tasting like heaven. At night, we were roasting chestnuts in the open fire hearth. Truly, an exquisite experience before we concluded our Camino. Thank you, Xin and Diego from the bottom of our hearts, Ela and Iwona from Poland 💕

One of the best places I have ever been, the owners of the house are very nice and helpful and they prepare a breakfast for you every day with a lot of options and in the rooms there is a bathroom and a shower for every bedroom and there is a fan in the closet so you don'l get hot.

Lovely and cosy place with great hosts! Diego and Xing were friendly, attentive and very nice ❤ we enjoyed a chat with them by the cosy fireplace. Breakfast was yummy and extra special because of the variety of homemade cakes.

What a cozy and welcoming casa rural, so glad I stopped here on my last night to Santiago de Compostela. Diego and his wife are amazing hosts, and Diego went out of his way to help me get to his location and again the next day when walking back to the way. The room and property are extremely clean, there are many places for relaxing (patio, couches, even hammocks), I was greeted with warm chestnuts and a big bottle of water, and breakfast was homemade and delicious. Also, there is an honor bar with seating for the end of the day. Would 100% return, and wish the best to these two extremely hard working hosts.

Stayed here on our way to Santiago, a very true and peaceful rustic place. The owners speak English which gave a chance to learn more about galician lifestyle and traditions.
