Albergue Nuestra Señora del Pilar

Lovely Albergue, clean, picturesque and fair-priced. The food is good and also cheap. Amazing Hospitaléras. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Margarita, she had lots of great tips for the rest of my Camino, and I watched her take fantastic care of another pilgrim and her sore feet. Totally recommend. Gracias!!

We stayed here on the night of 10th June. Our private room was in a separate house and very clean and comfortable. The staff in the albergue were very friendly and accommodating. We spent a very restful night after a walk in the heat from Astorga. Breakfast next morning was lovely.

Clean,friendly place with a really quaint courtyard full of rustic decorum and plants,and relaxing music. Massages for a donation are offered. There were only two showers and one wc,but it seemed to be enough for about 30 of us staying there. Menu is comparatively pricy and the breakfast seemed a bit sloppy,but I still liked the place and would definitely stay there again!

This special albergue has been here a long time. It‘s an old building and the bed layout is quite unique but i slept very very well here. The heater was on and everything worked well. Many historical old photos of the albergue and you can see that it is a famous well-known establishment. The owner lady served breakfast and she was very friendly. The place made me remember that I am a pilgrim. I really liked it here - it‘s a place with character and history.

Without doubt this would have to be one of the best value for money albergues on the Camino. The albergue is located in the pretty village of Rabanal del Camino. The property is very atmospheric, beautiful gardens, friendly and attentive hosts and meticulously clean. We stayed in the Albergue's nearby cottage which offers hotel quality accomodation at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended.

Very friendly people. Attended an interesting pilgrims ceremony in the local church by their recommendations. The place is nice and cosy. A big room with many beds, but clean and warm. It's worthed staying there.

Arriving at this albergue shouldn't be too far off the feeling of reaching Eldorado (as should some of the other sites in this village). The place has a very sweet courtyard with plants, decoration, a couple of birds, a bar and plenty of seats for pilgrims in the mood of sharing their stories. In addition to the dormitory, there are a couple of rooms for couples (single beds may only be shared by a man-woman couple, we were told). The only slightly negative aspect is that the dorm beds are slightly too short for a tall pilgrim. This review should be read as describing an excellent albergue with a superior atmosphere. The People owning the place only make it better with their upbeat and friendly attitude.

This is The Albergue , all other are like tourist trap . Come here the will treat you really well. It is the perfect end of your Camino stage .

I have stayed in this amazing Albergue since 2009 and as recently again as just a couple of weeks ago... By now, this Albergue deserves the status of a true Institution of the Camino, and Isabel who runs it has the heart bigger that the mountains that lie ahead... If this is your first time and first choice to make, and if you are in search for the true Camino spirit - this is the address! Buen Camino!

Lovely albergue with really super people looking after it and you. Good affordable food, drink and a bed to sleep in. Would use again. Stayed during Sep / Oct 18 and would recommend

Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, hot water and a lot of place for laundry. Wish all albergues were like this one! The only problem is poor Wi-Fi range.

Best place in town. These ladies work so hard its unbelievable. Great service clean if you dont stay here drink and eat here its a good time.
