💯🍷👌Excellent choice. Superb food using local ingredients. Well elaborated plates with good range of choices to suit all from Cocido to fresh fish and meats. All my food was served hot to my liking, was well presented & arrived quickly but above all was tasty. I noted they had a good choice of wines for pairing. The establishment is, also tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.

The best was the superb service from Ramón. I will definitely be back for more!

I stayed at this hotel when I learned the hostel in the city were experiencing bedbugs infestation, so to avoid issues along the Camino. Service was great and the room very clean. Very mindful of them to provide a clothes horse outside the window, useful for the pilgrims who want to give a rinse to their clothes.

We were recommended this restaurant by two locals who spoke very highly of this restaurant saying one of the best restaurant in town. Beautiful restaurant with a modern atmosphere with a great story that was featured in a famous novel, if you go you will understand when you experience it. When we arrived we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile and welcoming words. Our "waiter" Ramon, who we found out at the end of the meal was actually the owner treated us in an excellent manner . He explained the menu in detail and offered us recommendations. I could tell he was very proud of the food which he should be because it was so delicious!

We started with the local Cecina and homemade chorizo which was different from the typical cecina I usually eat from Leon. It was tender, smoky and I could have just eaten that and been satisfied. We tried the cocido "Maragato" which is the cocido style from this area. I have eaten in the best cocido restaurants in Madrid and I can assure you that this cocido was one of the best ones I have ever tried. The cocido featured all local products which were super delicious. each of the meats were individually spectacular, you definitely need to to try this coicdo. We also had the Alubias Blancas, the local white beans with homemade chorizo, it was so flavorful.

We were too full for dessert but we will definitely visit again. Ramon also wrote down the store where I could buy authentic cecina from Astorga. Thank you Ramon for an awesome lunch in Astorga!

I should have known that the sun casting my early morning shadow long before me,this day would be special and it was.
But not as special as La Peseta. My early check in room ready, staff bright happy.

A really impression of location, great food, friendly staff and good ambiance. I've tried many restaurants around the city, but this one is probably the best one in the historical area of Astorga. 10/10 would recommend

Snug rooms. Excellent dining room. Excellent location to see the cathedral, Gaudí, etc. Near to everything in the upper city.

What a wonderful hotel & restaurant! Located in a central but quiet place. Impeccable rooms and delicious food, and friendly staff!! What more can a traveller want? Loved it!

You just can't eat any better than at The Peseta. And real waiters who know how to serve. But the food is fantastic! Really.

Hemos venido a pasar un día a Astorga y nos está encantando. Nos recomendaron este restaurante y nos ha gustado muchísimo.

Hemos comido el típico cocido maragato y está riquísimo. También destacamos el postre: unas natillas casera deliciosas.

En todo momento nos han atendido con una amabilidad y servicio increíble, en concreto Ana, lo cual se agradece muchísimo. Si vienes a Astorga no dudes en conocer y disfrutar de este restaurante.

Una experiencia excepcional en La Peseta.Disfrutamos de un delicioso cocido maragato, que nos transportó directamente a la tradición culinaria de la región. El camarero Kevin nos atendió con una amabilidad y profesionalismo insuperables, haciendo que nuestra comida fuera aún más especial. Sin duda, volveremos a disfrutar de la exquisita comida y el excelente servicio en este restaurante de Astorga cuando volvamos.

Si vas a Astorga, alójate aquí. La relación calidad - precio es inmejorable.
La ubicación no puede ser mejor. A pie recorres las plazas más bonitas, la muralla del pueblo, la catedral y el palacio de Gaudí.
El personal no puede ser más atento y simpático.
El restaurante es una pasada. Menuda cecina.
Las habitaciones limpias, amplias y con camas muy cómodas.
Un acierto. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Estuvimos comiendo y puedo decir que todo súper bueno!! La atención de 10.Ademas de la carta tienen platos fuera de ella.El postre de helado de mandarina y chocolate caliente me encantó y la sopa de pescado con nécoras que decir,me encantó

Hemos comido de maravilla.... cocido muy rico y abundante... en pleno centro de astorga.
Éramos 4 personas y el propietario nos recomendó pedir solo 3 menús de cocido y acertó.... sobró aún.

La comida muy buena. Pedimos una ensalada de cecina y queso curado y cocido maragato. Se nota que utilizan productos de calidad y muy bien elaborados.
La atención del personal impecable.
