Small museum with an interesting collection of art and artefacts. Some masterpieces stand out but the whole collection is interesting. It took me an hour to wander through its rooms. The building itself is outstanding covered with wonderful frescoes full of colour.

Didn’t get a chance to visit the museum (closes at 15:00 on Sundays) Beautiful garden with statues and a Japanese garden and fountain

Nice museum spread over 4 floors (there is an elevator by the way). It took us a little big over 1.5 h to see the exhibitions (paintings, jewelery collections, ceiling paintings, antique household items, modern art pieces).
A full price ticket if you are not eligible to any discount costs €7. It seems to me that the entrance is free the last hour before end of business.
A couple of famous paintings (at least 1 of Goya's) are on loan until the end of January 2022 so you won't be able to see them.

7€ entry for adults.
Very good museum, a wonderful collection of paintings, jewellery, armour, tapestry, brass and more. Also, there is an adorable ginger cat that sits outside and welcomes the visitors.

One of the ‘hidden/unknown’ treasures of Madrid. The question should not be if to visit this place but when. The ground floor displays some art but should not be the center of your visit to this museum. The main reason to visit this museum are the first and second floor. The ceilings on the first and second floor are absolutely amazing and so is the art displayed around all floors.

Astonish collection of collections.
Different kinds of art, from painting to sculpture but also archeologic pieces, weapons.
The place is also beautiful and personal is so kind.
Definitely recommend if you are in Madrid.

The collection is perfect for the private museum. The building is an object of art itself. The painting on ceilings are amazing. The decoration of every room is wonderful.

this is definitely a museum to visit I loved every artwork in here and this gentleman galdiano he's been a collector of various works of art on oil paintings things out there Leonardo DaVinci Francisco Goya and a whole bunch of different other things but what is noticeable about the artworks did he did collect was that they were all top-notch Best of the Best of the most beautiful things it is definitely wonderful to see something a reflection of a person's dreams and travels and ideas and fusion of beauty at collected in one place and then turn into a museum with his home being visited by so many people lovers of history and people being taught this information not stop because of this definitely worth a visit

Intimate museum in the collector’s home. You can get up close with pieces by Goya and Bosch without the crowds. Hidden gem in Madrid.

Fantastic little museum with a collection of art and artefacts covering jewellery, painting, sculpture, cloth, table wares and more. Roughly arranged by periods or origins, with occasional contemporary pieces thrown in, which really highlight how bad contemporary art is. Just joking. Kind of. It’s free in the last hour, and the building itself is amazing. Well worth the visit.

Visiting here provides an interesting contrast to the Museo Cerralbo; while the latter is giddily — even oppressively — opulent, the Galdiano is serenely rational and assiduously ordered. Both contain astonishing treasures and are able to be enjoyed in less than two hours.

This museum has a nice collection not just of paintings but also furniture examples and accessories of different decades. The friendship of Lázaro with Goya helped him to have a nice collection. 4 floors building with nice music and entertainment events and Masterclass and nice garden in Serrano street.

Located on Calle Serrano, closes early in the day. The gardens are well-worth a walk, but share closing hours with the museum building itself. The Museo Lazaro Galdiano houses some of the personal collections of Lazaro Gladiano in his turn-of-the-century home, including art from the 14th to early 20th centuries, precious metalwork, a collection of firearms and blunderbusses, carved wood sculpture and engravings, and textiles. Highly recommended. Plan between 90 minutes and three hours for a visit.

Truly beautiful museum, a bit off the center so it's much more quiet. you can enjoy works of a few great masters,.almost on your own. It's also a good size.you can see the whole place in a nice visit. Beautiful little gardenn as well.
