Giza Necropolis

Amazing historical site one of the seven wonders of the world. Easy access to the site with multiple world class restaurants on the site. Beware of vendors they will overprice items and rides .

Excellent place to travel and learn the great history and culture of the ancient Egyptians. Great to take photos. I took a horse carriage to roam around and to was great . .

Been here many many times and will go again and again. Have a good time. Some advice if you don’t wanna be hassled by salesman and people that have horses and camels and things like that all you have to do is find someone if you want to do these rides and have them give you a tour and stick with them for the rest of the day don’t bother you or just say no it’s not hard to say no they might ask you once or twice or three times and just look at them and say no that’s all you have to do.

In December I visited the pyramids in Egypt. The weather was very nice and they were crowded with tourists from all over the world. I climbed from the inside through very narrow passages to the top of the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of Khufu, where there is a tomb of King Khufu is located , but it was empty. I enjoyed this adventure. I also visited the Sphinx and the buildings surrounding it and enjoyed riding a camel. I was enjoyable this visited and I bought some souvenirs for memory , I recommend.

Absolutely mind blowing and astonishing at some of the creations the early Egyptians put together. Our guide Faruq was very informative during our visit.

Oh, and you definitely have to do the visit inside the pyramids!!

The Giza Necropolis promises an enriching blend of history, exploration, and adventure. We started by exploring the iconic pyramids of Giza, the Great Pyramid of Khufu and the Sphinx, Having a guide was of great help as there are no signs and/or information available in the complex.

We had gone through Giza with a good tour guide, the challenge is that with a larger group you do not have the opportunity to explore the complex.

There are many vendors scattered around and rides available on camel and horse back.

I did not enter the pyramids, tickets need to be purchased before hand and it did appear to be incredibly busy which may have taken away from the experience.

Being in a group, I would have liked to have spent more time at the Spinx and be much closer.

Guides provide great information during the visit, though it can feel rushed if you are looking to explore. These pyramids are majestic and have much to offer.

Exploring the Giza Necropolis with my family was an unforgettable adventure. The site buzzed with activity as people from all over the globe marveled at the ancient wonders. Went inside the great pyramid. Go early in the morning to avoid long lines. The way up and down inside the pyramid is one way and does get really tight. For great pictures go away from the main / great pyramid and towards the other two pyramids. No crowds at all. The panorama view point is amazing.

Giza pyramid complex is huge and impressive and vast. Going during peak season is quite crowded. There is also a camel riding service here that is very interesting but equally dramatic.

Pyramids is one of the seven wonders of the world, and is one of the greatest puzzles in the world in terms of the way it is built, and beauty, and the splendor of things within them.

As it is built in a distinctive engineering manner, and at a time did not have the mechanisms and modern equipment as now which is considered a miracle.

And has gained great fame among millions of people throughout the ages, so it has been classified as the most beautiful tourist areas in Egypt,

I mean, you know what they are and what they look like. And they still absolutely lived up to expectations to me. Booking in advanced, knowing how to deal with pushy people, being dressed for the heat - all necessary. Still - something you should see once in this lifetime if you are remotely interested.

We went there a few months ago and it was very good, but now the war is very close, so tourism has dropped a lot. The guide told us that it went from 10,000 people a day to 700. It is a difficult time for them and unfortunately the only place to go is to the pyramids.

Of course, this was an amazing experience, and my words won't do justice to it, so I'll just say that I was relieved that the vendors didn't put any pressure on us like they do at other tourist attractions nearby!

Great place. Get a good guide with luck as everyone is there to rip u off. 540 Egy pounds to get in plus 220 to visit inside the smallest pyramid. Going inside only for the able-bodied. Only stone Chambers and passages. Not truly worth while but curiosity got the better of us. Sphinx was amazing and so also the Grand Pyramids.

Worth a visit to this wonder of the world!The pyramids are the testimony of great pharaohs culture and traditions.The magnificent Pyramids are a treat to witness physically.They have stood the test of time,they make us realise how infinitesimal we are, in front of geological time,the pyramids also are the testimony of royalty of Kings and the hard work of the people who transformed an idea into reality.A must visit,wonder of the world.

Just visited the Giza Necropolis and it’s absolutely incredible! The pyramids and Sphinx are stunning, and the site is impeccably preserved. Highly recommend for history enthusiasts!

This was insightful, educative and fun all at once. Everything you watch on Nat Geo except that the grandeur of the Pyramids is grossly understated on TV.

How did the build them? All 112 of them?

No answer satisfied me. It remains one of the wonders of the ancient and modern world. Incredible stuff!

The Egyptians are really friendly and nice people... Recommend the horse carrier .. its a long way to walk...
