It was a great experience. There are many activities suitable for kids and adults, including museums, games and there’s also a fun escape room there.
There’s also a boat trip in the beginning where they introduce you to the village in English and Arabic (and I think other languages are available for groups). The staff there is extremely friendly too. Will definitely go again 💯

This is a must see place in Egypt for kids (ages 3 to 9) and adults too. The staging and full experience is well done and really helps the kids learn and observe more than a standard museum.

Our tour guide was English speaking and super knowledgeable. I only wish we planned more time, we did the whole thing in 2 hours but could have spent a full day.

The Pharaonic Village is highly recommended for families and children. You can hire a private boat that will take you with a private tour guide across the 3 phases that depict Ancient Egypt; the story of Prophet Moses (Peace be upon him), the life of Ancient Egyptians with Agriculture, industry, and lifestyle.

Then a private boat will take you in a Nile tour for about an hour. Very tasty Mango Juice cold/hot drinks await on board!

The Village mimics the life of Ancient Egyptians and has replica for many of the historical places and temples of Luxur and Aswan, as well replica for many of the ancient tools used in daily life in Ancient Egypt.

Unforgettable memories, loads of information about the mysterious discovery of Tutankhamun Tomb, and Cleopatra lifestyle.

Replica for the Water Clock (The Original one is in the Museum of Egyptian Civilization -Must-see)

We were a group of 50+ mostly older individuals on a Holy Land tour, this was our last stop before going home. I enjoyed it! First a boat ride, going past displays of ancient Egyptian life. It was fun just sitting and seeing the displays, well done. Then we went into the replica of the Karnak Luxor temple, it was simple and small but a good effort. Then a stop at the hall of gift shops and small museum to the founder, Dr. Hassan Ragab. Then we could wander the grounds, including going into the replica of King Tut's tomb, also very well done. I can recommend if you have time in Cairo!

I learned a lot of information by visiting this place. They have a gift shop and tons to see and learn. They have actors portraying different scenarios of what ancient Egypt would have been like for everyday people. You can also dress up and get your picture taken which was pretty cool.

Recreating ancient Egyptian life showing mummification and so many bits of daily life, all along with displaying different history parts like the French Campaign, Sadat museum, displays and theories about the pyramids’ building process, parts of Islamic and Coptic museum. Staffs are very knowledgeable and friendly. Really enjoyed it, thank you very much

Been to many of Cairo's tourist attractions but missed this one until now.
At first glance it reminded me a bit of those long forgotten little American theme parks.
First a short boat ride around the island and then we stopped and got to see the attractions.
A view into ancient Egypt and its way of life.
The houses of noblemen and peasants.

Several nice museums.
A restaurant and gift shop.
A tourguide explains the various displays.

A recreated tomb of King Tut and a hall devoted to politics.

I liked it. The setting is nice and the gardens are well kept.

If you have a little extra time you can't go wrong.
It's well worth visiting.

Good experience on this tour. The best part of the tour was sailing around the island, and there was a performance show to explain ancient Egypt inventions. Most importantly, feel safe visiting this place. Unlike Pyramid, everywhere scammers. They are well-organised, and not many scammers.

Fantastic place to visit, you get a 30 minute boat ride and can see depictions of life in old Egypt explain and many different languages and live actors. Then you get a walking tour with several museums, a copy of Tutakhamon's tomb and a lot more, prices at the store are set but they are reasonable. A great day trip, worth the stop.

Nice place to visit with the family & kids
Plan your visit as you need 2-3 Hrs
Based on your interest, you can visit additional small museums with extra fees. Suggest to visit in early morning to avoid the crowds
For the boats, you can pay extra fees to use it alone

This place tries to being back a lost era and practices of the ancient Egyptian people. The symbol alphabet, fire making practice, glass blowing, papyrus paper, dressing, cultivation and other ways of life. It has sculptures of various prophets and royalty. It also has the area where Moses was found based on the Bible story. It's like a walk through history with live people replaying the ways of life of the ancient Egyptians. It's very lovely to watch this while being ferried across. We had an English instructor who explained everything as we got to each landmark. After the ferry ride we got into the real village and observed many many things including going into houses of dead royalties and seeing how they lived and some of their personal belongings. The Egyptian culture is one that holds great wonders and never ceases to amaze me each time I'm exposed to it. So if you really want to go back in time to the pharaonic era, this is a must visit for you and also great for photography. Some areas offer ancient wears for you to take pictures with looking like a pharaoh at a price. I'm not sure how much because I didn't partake in this. Enough said, why not take a trip to this village and see for yourself and I'm sure you will love it. I went during the winter so it wasn't so hot staying out for too long.
