It's very small airport and very heavy traffic road.
But Hall is not bad but only have one terminal

BURG AL ARAB INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (IATA: HBE, ICAO: HEBA) is an international airport away from the city of Alexandria about 49 km in the southwest direction, and is about 14 km east of the new city of Burj Al Arab. It has been established to ease the Alexandria International Airport, which does not carry large aircraft to the nature of the land Sabkha, in addition to the existence of obstacles from buildings violating the rights of height around the airport. The airport has an area of ​​43669 square meters, surrounded by a 914-meter-long wire wall. In 2008, the airport served 189,064 passengers. This number is expected to rise especially after the opening of the new airport. The airport is one of the main centers of Egypt Air and the main hub of Air Arabia Egypt.

This airport isn’t as bad as people are saying. The quality of the airport is actually pretty nice. We didn’t really have any issues.

Yes there is a waiting area outside the airport so to go straight into the airport just make sure to come within 1.5-2 hours of your flight and they will let you straight through.

Sometimes the people inside the airport even like the security checkers may ask for a tip, however this is not mandatory (and they really shouldn’t ask to be honest). Just say La Shukran and be on your way. If any issues ask the other security personnel around they should put you through without any issues.

Great and very fast operations. BUT make sure to ARRIVE ON TIME because if you arrived an hour earlier they won't let you enter and you'll have to wait outside until 2 hrs before the take off it has coffee machines for only 20 pounds coffee taste good recommended .. don't try to eat at the small stores the chilled sandwiches are very very bad that it even smells bad.

Borg El Arab International Airport became one of my favorites , highly recommended & really appreciate all the staff there I had a personal experience twice not even once & the service & professionalism which they have there it’s really exceptional specially with the low equipment quality for the airport itself, the staff over there make it one of the best Airports ever I wish that if know some name to mention or to thank them but I don’t, so thanks for all the staff there for being helpful, kindness, & supportive.
