This Guesthouse is very comfortable and clen. The Pyramids just few minutes walk, and the best view from the rooftop restaurant is amazing.
The crew its very-very kind and helpful. Every day we got a cold water for free several times. The food is perfect!

We arrived at Horus Guest House picked up at airport and from that time on we were treated like King and Queens , made feel special the staff are so friendly. It would be the friendliest hotel we have stayed with over our 3 months in Europe.. The view of the pyramids alone is worth the stay we loved it. Nothing is too much trouble for staff ..

Horus Pyramids View Guest House is one of the best hotels we stayed at, not only in Egypt, but also in the world we traveled so far over 72 countries. The hotel is right by the entrance of the Pyramids, from the terrace of rooftop of the hotel, you can view the night show for FREE. The rate is also the best here with wonderful free breakfast included in the rates. The owner of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful, he even serves you breakfast in the morning. God he is such a nice person, because I has foot ache problem, and I like the bathroom floor mat as it massages my foot. I ask the owner where I can buy one, he immediately gives me one for FREE, can you believe that? I insist I pay him, but he tells me we are friends so it is a gift from Egypt! We are so lucky we stayed here for 3 nights, I wish we can stay more. The hotel also provides free bottled water, ice cold, such a treat after we visited Pyramids and came back to the hotel with ice cold drinks. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Service you'll get at this place is unmatched. They make you feel at hime right from get go and try all way to accommodate you the best they can.
The rooms: it's a 2 star property, that looks better than A 3 star stay but don't expect anymore. Its not bad at all. And the view from the roof top absolutely makes up for it. You end up not really using your room much.
It's literally 4 mins from the Sphinx.

We stayed here over two years ago and still find ourselves mentioning what an amazing experience it was. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by our host who said: "Welcome to Egypt, you are home." We absolutely adored the breakfast on the terrace with a view of the pyramids. It was an incredible way to start our days, and the kindness and hospitality of each and every staff member was the icing on the cake. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed during our stay. Can't recommend this place enough, it was one of the highlights of our trip around the world! We hope to one day return to our friends at Horus Guest House. Truly a treasure.

Perfect location near the pyramids, nice views from the rooftop, you can see the pyramids and pidgeon trainers at the same time. Perfect and complete breakfast and the staff was really attentive and helpful all time. The rooms could be cleaner, but it's ok if you are not very demanding in that sense. Absolutely perfect hotel. I have traveled the world, and never have I had a more wonderful hotel experience than at the Horus Guest House. I would honestly return to Cairo a second time, purely to stay here again. Staff are helpful, kind, and the pyramid views are no lie. Best hotel ever!

The property is a good choice if you want to stay near the Pyramids. It´s possible to see the pyramids from the room and at the rooftop. The pyramids entrance is a 5-minute walk. The streets may be a bit dirty and messy, but it does not concern the hotel itself, that is Egypt.
The guest house Staff is very attentive, which makes the environment even more pleasant. He provides water and snacks all the time.
The night view of the pyramids from the rooftop is an unique experience.

This guesthouse is very close to the entrance gate to the Giza Pyramids Complex, and has an excellent view of the pyramids. House staff are friendly and helpful, and the house provides unlimited free juice and bottled water to guests. If you're planning to spend a night or two in Giza, this is the place to stay.

The best hotels of my 8 days stay in Egypt. Stayed in various hotels and hostels in these 8 days, but Horus Guest House Pyramids View is the best. The guest house keep on giving us mineral water, many times, once during check in, once after back from pyramid in evening, once during breakfast in morning and once during check out. You won't be feeling thirsty as they will serve you well. During check in, they give both mineral water and guava packet juice. There is balcony in the upper floor with superb view of all the pyramids. The owner carefully explained to us to go to the corner of the balcony to get the view of the Sphinx of pyramid. We check in early in the first day. And brought outside bread to eat at the balcony. The owner gracefully serve us free coffee with milk. The next day we had our breakfast which is included in the hotel fees. This breakfast is Big Breakfast. Many many varieties of food. Two types of bread, two types of cheese, strawberry jam, butter, honey, falafel, bananas, Nestle yoghurt, mineral water and guava juice. Their bread is especially tasty. Having breakfast at the balcony with pyramids view is enjoyable experience. At night you can see the pyramids lighted up with various colours at the balcony.
The room is clean. Everything is good in the room.
Make sure to stay in this guest house when you come to Giza area.

It is a good hotel for a staying in Pidamids trip: it is clean and rather new. Room is not big. Thr main problem is bathroom: too small, it is a bit difficult to have a shower. But the staff is really best ever: not workers, but owners of the hotel serves you like a king. I recomend the hotel for a not long staying. And yes, it is a view: wow!

Very welcoming! Saieed is good person family operated and amazing views. It is Giza so expect they way they shower and traditional style living.

Horus was a great place - the roof terrace was my favourite place as I could get a beer and look out over an unimaginable view of the pyramids. I spent ages up there reading my book. On the first night I arrived late but Sayed, the manager, made sure I had everything I needed and another Sayed took me to a restaurant down the street to get some food - as I didn't know the way. Dina served the coldest beer on the terrace. Throughout my stay, all three were fantastic and so helpful. I bought some lovely pictures from the hotel and the first Sayed told me the history behind them. I can't fault the guest house - I liked it there very much. Outside, though, you have to know exactly what you're doing others your wallet will become very light, very quickly. Sayed will advise you to make sure you have a great time - and if you're planning a trip to the pyramids (duh) whatever you do - trust me implicitly - arrange it through the hotel (or another trusted party). I would not recommend simply turning up at the ticket box as I did... Horus is epic for a few days and make sure to plan your trips.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, love the view, we felt very comfortable. I thank them for being very thoughtful about the guests like they gave us snack boxes for our onwards late night journey.

Amazing gem to stay at in Giza. You really do feel like part of their family and there’s unlimited water/juice to deal with the heat. The view from their rooftop is priceless too!

Wonderful host, amazing hospitality, went with Zakaria our tour guide and had some awesome prices and discounts. We bought amazing Lotus based aromas and the original extracts of plants and flowers.
