The whole experience was great and I was enchanted with Philae temple view 🤩 the food was very delicious and staff are really friendly and decent. Really loved the place.

The best Nubian food in Aswan without any doubt. Food is amazing. Prices are excellent. Service and staff are great. View on Philae temple was awesome esp with the light effects at night. To go there, you will need a boat . The trip itself is an experience.

2. Nubian people are straight forward and decent.
3. Food is fresh made in place so be ready for long waiting time at least 1 h.

This place is a must to eat if you’re in this zone of Aswan. Solaih is a real nubian restaurant with traditional food really tasteful. The place and the view are also unique.

We had the best time in Solaih. Bigeh Island is just magnificent, you have the best view of Philae Temple. The restaurant is self-sufficient and everything is fresh and made for you. The food was delicious. Most importantly, the people are very warm, welcoming and respectful. They showed us around their farm, invited us to a family wedding and explained to us the history of the island and the people on it. Would recommend everyone to visit Solaih for an unforgettable experience. I, for one, would be going again on my next visit to Aswan

This little restaurant on its own island close to the temple of Philae is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and delicious restaurants I have been to in Egypt. The food is just perfectly made according to old Nubian traditions and served in a very chilled spot with a beautiful view on the ancient Egyptian site, which had been relocated by UNESCO due to the construction of the Assuan dam (probably one of the world wonders of today’s). Definitely visit and enjoy ... you will not regret it!

The place is awesome, the view is charming, people here are very friendly and helpful you feel like home.
