Cairo Horse Riding School

I got to cross one thing of my bucket list: riding a horse in gallop next to the pyramids! Tamer and Ahmed took us in a small group on a spectacular 2 hour ride across the dessert where you can see multiple pyramids at the same time, while having a view of the oases and Cairo in the background. At the same time you and some Egyptian riders are the only ones in the desert. A truly unique experience! Our guides were super friendly and there horses are well taken care of.

I spent a few days in Cairo and tried different stables, and they are for sure the best. They moved from Giza to Abu sir, wich has great view and less crowded. They take good care of their horses and other animals. And although I’m a beginner rider and only spent a few hours with them, they did their best to teach me and let me enjoy the riding. Highly recommended and will definitely come back if I come to Cairo again.

Lovely ride in the desert, probably best if you are more experienced rider, cantering thought the desert. You can book directly on airbnb. The horses are well cared for, probably the best kept in cairo. some of them are rescued from abuse.

I had a wonderful experience at the Cairo Horse Riding School! Tamer and his crew are so knowledgeable, dedicated, easy-going folks and fun to be around. Everyone speaks English fluently so no concerns about language barriers. They offer classes and desert trips for all age groups and levels.

The lessons are great, from the very first moment you can tell how passionate Tamer is about horseback riding and wants to transfer some of his +20 years of experience to you.

You will instantly fall in love with the horses. John being my absolute favorite!

Most memorable was our trip through the desert. I'd love to do that again.

The way how the entire crew friendly genuinely is exceptional.

Tamer is the manager and he is very professional as well as caring person for the animals and his students.

My wife and i had an intensive course for almost two month and it was an absolute great experience.

We went from 0 to heros 🙂.

The price is great and the treatment is greater .

I had a very pleasant experience with this stable where the horses are loved and well treated. Tamer is very kind and attentive to everyone's needs according to their level. I highly recommend it for lessons or desert rides in a safe and friendly environment !

I went riding with Cairo Horse Riding School in the late afternoon on a Friday. I spent 10 days in Egypt and this was by far the best experience of my time here, and one of the best travel memories I have. We cantered through the desert and stopped for refreshments midway through and it was incredible. I felt so comfortable on the horse (thanks Butterfly!) and had a blast. Julia, the photographer for Egypt Horse Photography, took amazing photos of the ride and sent them to me shortly after. I am so grateful for the experience! Highly recommend to anyone, beginner or advanced, who wants an unforgettable experience in Egypt.

Amazing experience, fantastic owner taking horses that have been abused and rehabilitating them so they can live a new life. The horses were well behaved, well looked after and easy to ride for a beginner. Galloping on my second time riding a horse was a bit scary but definitely one of the most thrilling things I’ve done, with the backdrop of the pyramids this was absolutely fantastic. Would give it 6 stars if I could!

Tamer has rescured most of the horses in the school, he is a lovely guy who really loves animals. I genuinely support his actions to protect them. He have horses for all levels. As a beginner he has offer me the best horse, my gf witch has a good level had a horse suited to her level, he will kindly advise you to have the best experience. Ride a horse watching the sunset in the desert with a view of the pyramids is one of the best experience I ever had

Rode horses for fun in the dessert and took pictures with view of the pyramids. Horses are clean. Instructors are helpful and take good care of the horses. It was a great experience. Saw also 10-year old children learning horse-riding and they looked very well-trained.

Great riding school. Captin Tamer is friendly. And the environment is healthy and comfy.
