Amazing museum, very awesome collection, lots to see. It’s very historical and monumental. It has the graveyards very close by, it’s definitely worth the trip. Especially if you enjoy history and weaponry, as well as world war 2. The museum is very well kept and preserved. I would recommend visiting this museum and the surrounding areas.

A must see if you are close. Enjoyed the experience and the staff there were very nice, welcoming and hospitable. You will need around 30-45 minutes to cover the exhibits. Very affordable entry prices for Egyptians compared to non Egyptians (40 EGP for Egyptians and 200 EGP for non Egyptians)

A well arranged and organized exposition. Explanatory panels in both English and Arab make it easier for foreigners to understand the world and local situation at the time.
Thanks for the good job.

Amazing place. Really nice with lots of information. I advise going early and doing the bit outside first before it gets too hot. All.of the vehicles and planes are outside. There are 5 different halls in the air conditioned museum. Each one is dedicated to a different side in the battle There are also documentaries you can watch, in several different languages, just ask the attendant and they will change the audio for you.

One of the most interesting and organised military museum I have ever visit usually I feel boring from such this kind of museum but this one is really different and attracted you to know every thing with all details about the famous Battle of Alameen.
There is tour guide available and for free with wide knowledge and explain every thing to you by simple way make your visit more valuable
Beside the internal show room there is external garden full with War machines ( remains from Alamin Battle)
It's highly recommended to visit for the family.

This is a very good El Alamein World War II military history museium. The place has indor exhibition galleries of various military gear, guns, and other items. There are also outdoor exhibits of various military hardware. The only complaint that I have is some of the floor tiles of indoor exhibit galleries are loose and unstable. You might want to be somewhat careful when walking in the galleries.

Well organized and clean. Lots of objects on display. Staff are friendly and offered help whenever asked. They were also knowledgeable about each piece and its history, offering more information than what is written on the labels.

Amazing place with the scent of history. All war weapons , equipments , ammos, tanks and aircrafts which was found in Alameun desert upon war.
Every thing is huge in size reflecting the limited ancient technology advance.
It needs almost from two to three hours to discover everything by the expert eye

Very interesting museum about the desert war in North Africa and the two 1942 battles of El Alamein at a truly historic site.

In the well-maintained outside area there is an extensive collection of Axis and Allied armoured vehicles, lorries and guns. Many vehicles show extensive damage, but there are no plaques which tell you if the machines have participated in the war or if they were used as range targets. The exception is a Curtiss P-40 Kittyhawk airplane which has been found in the desert to be beautifully restored.

The building itself consists of five halls concentrating on the individual belligerent parties – showing maps, uniforms, small arms and various objects. Some of the English texts contain errors and typos and could need some overhaul, but the museum is a must-see nonetheless if you are staying in the area.

The staff are very friendly and the tickets are at a moderate price. Also the Allied War Cemetery is very close and definitely worth a visit.

A piece of IIWW History in Egypt. A guide explains briefly about the Battle. He also leaves you on your own.

There are some original flags and some material that They found during the years.

The one thing that You should be aware is the long distance till German and Italian cementery. British and Greek both are close, easy to reach on feet.

It was my first time to go to this museum and it worth the visit. it contains 30+ vehicles and 2 Airplanes outdoor and 5 indoor halls (German, Italian, British, Egyptian and mixed one) contains soldiers, their used equipments and food supplies, we spent around 2 hours to see all exhibits. The tour guide explained and described many historical aspects. I really recommend visiting it.

Worth a visit, ticket price was 100 pounds when we visited and worth the price. Good exterior display and museum inside was also good. Staff were friendly. There's a cafe on-site and it is easy to park on the road outside the museum.
