TuT Pyramids View Hotel

Excellent attention, the owner or manager of the hotel, the lady at the front desk as well as the guys. All super friendly and predisposed to help us. The first night we arrived very late and they invited us for dinner, which we appreciated a lot.

The breakfast is very good for the price, very abundant and delicious. But having breakfast with the view from the terrace is priceless. It is magical. And surrounded by kittens, by the way.

We were blessed to meet Adam here!
He helped us with everything around our accomodation, money exchange, transport around and advice both for Giza and Egypt in general! We can only wish that we came here and met him sooner :)

Given the area, excellent value for money. good room cleaning. I think one of the best views from the rooftop. I liked the restaurant next door.

Hands down the best $15 hotel I have ever stayed in.

Location and unlimited roof access trump everything. Decent bed and AC. Adam is awesome 😎, listen to him and use him. He and the staff are the only ones in walking distance not trying to scam you. He can help with everything, transportation, money, ordering food delivery, tours, anything allowed in Egypt.

That said, this entire area around the 2nd gate is where the animals hang out, day and night. Horses and camels. Eating and drinking. You do not want to walk anywhere. Not because of animal droppings, but everyone thinks that saying hello obligates you to pay them unlimited sums of money. They beg you to sit down, oh where's our money. They beg you to see their perfume and drink tea, where's our money. Come in our shop and see our handpainted papyrus that suspiciously is identical to the competing shops, it is made in China by a printer on banana leaves. They beg you to do whatever and then think they did you a service. Use Adam for anything you want to buy or do.

I usually dont recommend american fast food in foreign countries, but in this area, only eat that. I highly recommend going elsewhere to eat and getting delivery if you dont want to go out. Juice and water available on the roof cafe.

Transport, uber is so cheap in egypt, only use it. The price doesnt change at the end, like in taxis. And you can see a live map of your destination and progress.

The bathroom is old. And needs updating. No elevator which is fine, but beware of dust on the stone stairs which makes them slippery. The tv didnt get any channels but if you dont speak arabic it doesnt matter, the shows suck.

But do this, wake up, eat breakfast on the roof and watch the sun rise. Uber to tourist stuff or take a tour. Eat . Come back to the roof , order food delivery, and watch the sun set 🌄 over the pyramids. Repeat. Perfect stay.

That said, don't stay in only one area of cairo. Experience different local areas. Stay near el abd bakeries. Trust me.

Cons: The streets are kinda dirty due to the kamels barns nearby but that's not the hotels fault. The room was not exactly according to my liking but Adam fixed it right away by changing my room immediately.

Not very big and doesn’t seem very well known, but would highly recommend. located very close to the pyramids, well kept rooms, excellent view and service. Extremely impressed with our receptionist Adam who always went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Adam consistently went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after and even checks in with us during our day tours to make sure our tour guides were treating us right

I enjoyed my cozy clean room. The owner was friendly and nice. The deck has the most epic view of the pyramids with a sweet calico kitty! Wonderful restaurant with the same view. The breakfast is lacking& unable to eat with it being bread, yogurt, and an egg.

Great experience in this Hotel, as guest we were treated very nice until the last minute. People from the hotel help us a lot with tours and places to visit. The view from the terrace is really beautiful and perfect to take some photos as it doesn’t have anything in front of it. Recommend!

We had a great time in the TuT pyramids view hotel!
We only intended to stay for two nights, but we extended our stay to 7 nights.

The staff there are so lovely, friendly and welcoming! They gave us so much information and guidance on what to do and what not to do. The information they provided was handy and helpful. If we had any questions, they would not hesitate to help us out.

We booked a double bedroom for the first two nights of our stay. Due to a problem we had in Athens, we couldn’t board our plane on the first night of our stay. We called them and informed them of the mishap, and scheduled our visit for the next two nights. Once we got to the hotel, they didn’t have the room we booked available. So they put us in a three king single bedroom. This room had a little water leaking problem in the bathroom. (I think it was from the shower), other than that, the room was great! The beds were clean and comfortable. After three nights there, we were moved to another room with two king single beds. This room was perfect. The bathroom didn’t have a leaking situation, although my bed did have a slight curve in the middle. We still had significant, restful and comfortable nights of sleep at TuT.
The air conditioner worked perfectly, keeping us cool.
Whenever we ran out of toilet paper, we asked reception for a new one, and they would kindly give us more.

The view on the rooftop is INCREDIBLE! Watching the sunset there every night is truly mesmerising! You can even watch the light show from there, although it could be a little difficult to hear what they’re saying (depending on the noise around you and also the wind). There are no buildings in front of this hotel, making the view even better!

Great hotel with best rooftop ever, all the staff is so friendly and helpful we were even able to take a shower after check out and our day trip ! Bedroom are cool, but special mention for all the staff and manager who were great with me 😊

AMAZING!! i loved it here so much i stayed for an extra week. the breakfast is amazing, THE VIEW IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rooms are comfy, you feel very looked after by all of the staff here, i am a solo female travellers and i highly reccomend this hotel. i made the mistake of not booking camel rides and trips through the hotel and got robbed. i reccomened their tours too, good people

ThIs hotel had an amazing view to the Pyramids. Waking up and enjoying the view from the rooftop was priceless. The staff was very friendly from the moment I arrived. If you need help with any tour in Cairo or other cities around Egypt... don't doubt to ask them. I did the tour to the Pyramids on a horse ride and it was more than incredible. The breakfast was very yummy and fulfilling.

The room was very clean and I didn't have any problem besides getting the wifi to work in some parts of the hotel.
Oh! to go to the rooftop you have to go by the stairs and after a little climbing you get to see the view which is worth it.

I booked this place twice or three times. Definitely, my favorite place to stay in Giza. I love it.
