Vintage hospitality, priceless history in the building & luxe antique wood furnishings. Spotless bathroom too, with big hot water tank above tub. Some wall spots & other maintenance issues, but there's a kitchen with microwave oven as well as vast & charming common rooms. (However, the whole building's old wire cage elevators stop from 4-6pm! Plan around this or it's a long walk given 6 stories of high ceilings.) Nice staff with great English, & a chair on balcony to see the blue sea at the end of the street. Located by the main historic & transit square too!

excellent, I've been there twice already and I have almost nothing to complain about. the location is great, I have been in two different rooms on two sides of the hostel and everywhere I had a wonderful view of the sea. the staff helped, guided us when we needed something and were willing. the rooms were nice, the beds comfortable and overall the hostel was clean. there is a convenience store in front of the hostel and there is an elevator in that building. the hostel is located right by the coast, so you won't get lost there. the only thing I have to point out is that in both rooms that I was . couldn't close the door, so we solved it by breaking the key. and if someone went somewhere and the others were sleeping, he had to lock them there. another thing is that the wifi is extremely weak and I had to be on it in the hall, but it didn't matter because there was a beautiful environment.

Room cleaning & the stuff was very kindly but they need to change the door room locker and a solution for water in the bathroom and the door of elevator must fixed this problem

The place is more than wonderful,clean, the service is excellent,historic& antique, and close to many amenities.

Great hotel. Everything is super clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. You will not find a better hotel in Alexandria for this price point. I’ve stayed in Alexandria in hotels for a total of 4 months combined, I definitely know what I’m talking about.

I had a really fantastic stay here to be honest. I felt it was important to mention that the staff were the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I have met in Egypt and I'm on my second week so far. I was given an upgrade when I arrived to a larger room which was really appreciated, and the stay was simply fantastic value for money.

I found everything to be clean and the facilities are a little basic but have everything you could need. The building itself is really something too, all in all a great budget hotel in a good location too. I think sometimes people want to pay for budget hotels but expect some form of 5 star luxury...I was really happy with my stay, thank you!

A great place to spend time in. My friend came from to stay for the night. The hotel exceeded their expectations by all means. It's tidy, clean, comfy, and people there are very professional and helpful. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're a frequent visitor to Alexandria for work.

I’m a fan. I got a room for myself. The bed was huge but it was hard. The room came with a sink which was nice! The reception is 24 hours which is convenient. However, when you’re gone they keep your key. I didn’t mind so much because I didn’t want to carry it around but others might be annoyed. This felt like a very professionally managed hostel. There are drinks to buy, the central area is clean and comfortable. I had to wait a bit for the shower but no complaints otherwise. Good for the price.

Location is extraordinary, in El Raml Tram station محطة الرمل where all the action is (very close to the beach, to the downtown and where all the cafes are). Staff is very friendly and they would support you with anything you need. The place will make you feel nostalgic if you are into the old style of buildings, high ceilings and long windows. Everything in the room were super clean and the elevator works perfectly fine. The view from the balcony will give you a side view of the sea and from the other side of the balcony you will have a view of Omar Lotfy street. At night you will sleep with the sound of beautiful Alexandria streets in your ears (people may complain about it but we found it mesmerizing and beautiful). Would definitely comer here again and again. Almost forgot! they have a very cozy and nostalgic reception where you will feel you are vising your grandparents house. Keep up the good work people. Very good for budget trips , weekends and business trips .
Rooms are very clean and they are concerned with hygeine although the furniture is a bit old .
But you get an amazing view there and its very near to all the necessary stuff like food and drinks and cafes and pubs .
It has a nostalgia mood from the first moment you enter the lift 😍

It was a very good experience. We enjoyed our staying there. We will go again, sure.

we stayed for 7 night and was very clean and they updated a lot of things compared to what is in the pictures . the staff are very friendly and and willing to help . i felt very safe in there . the location is amazing considering the price of the room . located in an excellent area " mahatit al ruml " which is the hopp of Alexandria 's shopping ceters .and you are a block away from the very reasonable fun electric traam ,which its an electric cart that allow you to go across Alexandria for only 25 cents and its very safe .
The staff even can pick up for you restaurants meals . balcony in some rooms allow you to see the beautiful Mediterranean sea.
Cecil hotel(4 stars ) which is literally next to it, for 5x the price a night ..
I certainly recommend it to stay there if you are on a budgets .
I definitely will go again .

Stayed here for two nights after turning up to my reserved hotel (Alexander The Great Hotel) to find nobody there!

Thankfully Triomphe Hotel/Hostel turned my misfortune into a lucky result, as the location is great and my single bedroom was very good value for money, plus the staff are both helpful and fluent in English.

Quite crude in appearance, but very spacious. The staff were extremely useful and lovely! However the beds were very hard! Maybe invest in some softer mattresses

I enjoyed my time there! The stuff were very friendly and the room was clean. One of the best hostels for a low-budget stay.

Nice place to stay in Egypt. Not a five star hotel. But good enough for us to stay for 5 nights for just only 160usd. Good bang for the buck.

The place is very good for its price and the staff are amazing I recommend it if you gonna stay for 3 or 4 days.

Stayed there for almost a week liked the place alot. I'll be back
