Amarillo Viru, Tallinna

Had dinner here, the food was good, especially the premium burger. I had chicken pocket and onion rings (delicious).
We also had one strawberry margarita and one mango margarita. The strawberry one was better.
The guy that served up was very nice, he told us that the food will take about 30 minutes, brought us some nachos and salsa while we waited, checked on us to see if you we like the food. I don't know his name but he had a handmade bracelet he got in Thailand (I asked about it before we left).
I have read other reviews.. I was not impressed with the my plate of chicken pocket but I was impressed with the service.

My sister got mozzarella sticks and became very sad when she found out they were inside the sauce. The waiters kindly made her a new serving. Wonderful!!

Very good vegan Burger. Was evwn better than Amarillo at Finland.

3 Course Meal for a group of 15 people. Service and food was great!

This is actually the hotel restaurant for the Hotel Viru in Tallinn Estonia. We ate here our last night in Tallinn due to bad weather outside and it turned out to be an excellent choice. I had pulled beef tacos and my husband had the pulled chicken taco plate. Both were outstanding. We ordered champagne as it was my husband's 65th birthday (he had spent his 21st birthday in the same hotel in Tallinn on a cold war student exchange). Our server, Anton, made a point of topping off his superb service by bringing us a celebration version of the chocolate brownie and ice cream dessert that was amazing, and a must do for chocolate lovers. All in all it was the perfect end to our visit to Tallinn and a perfect major birthday 🎂.

My plate was just what could be expected for the price. Beer was also good, although there was no pilsner on the list. Service was very smooth and professional. Clearly, I was an obvious Finnish tourist, so the service was given in Finnish. It was not crowded when I visited between 8-9 pm on a Saturday.

The food was great and we got by well by speaking Finnish to the waitress and her speaking Estonian to us.

Just 5/5. Food was spot on last weekend (13th - 14th of May 2023) and staff was very nice and friendly.

Restaurant Amarillo has a mellow atmosphere and offers a fusion of hot Mexican food and mild flavours from the southern states of the USA. Best margaritas in town!
