Unique interior and a magnificent building. The main hall boasts great acoustics due to its lofty ceiling. Beautiful and educational statues on antique themes adorn the space. I had the privilege of attending a performance that blended classical and folk music. The classical pieces, played on flute, piano, and cello, coincided with Beethoven's Epiphany on December 17th. Additionally, the Liszt Institute in Tallinn invited a skillful Hungarian musician who masterfully presented Hungary's traditional woodwind instruments.

Beautiful palace!! The entrance fee for students was reasonable and a lot to see. The temporary exhibition though does not fit the palace at all.

First of all, I think that this Palace was an amazing discovery here closer to Tallinn. We arrived quickly by bus.
It was built by Peter the Great of Russia for his wife, the future Catherine I of Russia. It's an attractive palace and houses a museum of Art (during USSR period, this was dedicated as art museum of Estonia, as I understand) .
The park around is also simple and nice and this is its centerpiece. The inside is also impressing with amazingly stunning rooms, but it would not compare much to, say, the Hermitage in Amsterdam or the famous Versailles from Paris
There are present works from the Russian avant garde that are original and also one of the rarest portraits of Peter the Great.
Don't hesitate to visit this Palace, you won't regret!! Also be careful that on Monday is closed.

Beautiful artwork, sculptures and different vases. $9euro for entry and there are three floors to visit. The exterior has such a beautiful garden and fountains with a large sculpture towards the middle. There are a lot of trails surrounding the property for walking in nature. This place is beautiful!

Summer palace built by Peter the Great and designed with Italian flair. The palace is decorated by a large collection of paintings from different artists from all over the Europe. The gardens are lovely especially in the summer. The entrance fee is 9 Euro for the palace and you can pay more if you wish to visit the other museums in the area.

Wonderfully! A historical place that is still alive today! All thanks to the maintenance and the effort to bring the old way of life closer to the new generations with the interior and exterior arrangements, as well as the exhibits. The gardens that are part of the museum, in addition to being beautiful, allow you to escape from the hectic present for a little while and enjoy the colors and peace, in relaxation.

Pretty little palace. Your experience will be tied to current exhibition.
Gift shop is also quite reasonably priced.
Afterwards make sure to take a stroll through surrounding park.

Amazing garden, with beautiful, colorful flowers. Unfortunately, we visited late in the afternoon and the building was closed. However, we were compensated by the tranquility and the design of the garden.

This castle is just so amazingly beautiful, I wish I could live there myself 😁
So even if the couple of centuries old paintings don't excite you all that much, just the interior is totally worth the visit. Now and then there are also concerts and other performances organised in the main hall.
My personal favourites are silverware pieces, can't admire enough the masterful artwork done with these items.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to enter to the museum however the gardens are beautiful and there is a park nearby perfect for picnic or just to walk around.
