La Cucina Restaurant and Pizzeria Napoletana

The restaurant's spacious and neutral, yet warm space is elegant and suitable for plenty of occasions from breakfast to dinner. During our stay at the hotel we visited the restaurant twice for breakfast and once for dinner.

The breakfast is exceptionally plentiful. The buffet selection includes everything needed for a full English or American breakfast, as well as traditional Estonian and Nordic breakfast items and many more.

For dinner we had a three course meal. As a starter I took the tartare, which was my favorite individual dish of my stay in Tallinn. My main course was Pizzimbocca, a Napoletan style pizza/calzone hybrid that's supposed to be folded in half. The concept was interesting and the wood-fired oven made the dough crispy. For dessert I had the chocolate cake, which was sweet and plentiful. Our wine pairing for the meal was a bottle of Bosco de Merlo Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 for 33€ (if I remember correctly) which was a great choice. The total for two people for the three courses was approximately 58€ per person.

Overall, the experience was great for both the breakfast and dinner. Especially if you're staying at the Kreutzwald hotel I highly recommend paying them a visit.

Super delicious Italian pizza. Full of flavours and freshness. Gorgonzola is my favourite, it's very saucy and has even pears on it. Other pizzas are also very good. 🍕 Portions are fulfilling. Menu has enough options for everyone. Mainly pizzas, but there are salads, desserts and some lunch offers as well.

Delicious fresh pasta - but make sure to call ahead to see if the have the pizza 🍕 oven working.

Good food. We liked pasta much better than pizza. Pizza did not impress us, but pasta was enjoyable. However relatively small size.
Portions were not big.
Atmosphere was nice.
If there would have been an olive oil, salt and pepper on the table - that definitely would be a plus.

The Margherita was quite good, from a european perspective. From a Napoli perspective, this is another subject ! But it was quite good and the beers and service were great !

Really good pizza! My favorite is the gorgonzolla one, which I couldn't find anywhere else.
Can't say much about the service though, since I always get take away.
