Art Studio Ichthus

I found this art gallery while walking around Tallinn.
It looked like I had stepped into a wonderful fantasy world.
When I timidly went inside, I saw the owner painting a picture, and inside was a wonderful gallery with a roaring fireplace.
Art was so beautiful and it seemed like such a sacred place.
When I was asked, ``Where are you from?'' and I answered, ``I'm from Japan,'' he greeted me in Japanese, which made me very happy.
It takes courage to enter, but it is a very valuable place.
Also, I later learned that it is possible to donate, so I would definitely like to do so the next time I visit.

A secret place right in heart of Tallinn! Just incredibly magical and magnificent, especially when it’s raining there!

The mosy beautiful art gallery I’ve been to. A piece of history. A €2 is complimentary to entry but I would encourage everyone to do it to encourage Aleksander to keep this masterpiece cellar open

Tajuttoman makea mesta. Oman tulkintani mukaan tarjolla skolastista taidetta. Takan vierellä kiva istuksia ja tuntea olevansa 1700 luvun kiltakodissa. Muistelin tätä aktiivisesti vielä seuraavana päivänä. Mene käymään. Piste.

Väike galerii/stuudio/töökoda kuhu pääseb Müürivahe 33 siseõuest, trepp viib alla keldrisse. Sissepääs on tasuta, aga karpi saab jätta annetuse. Väga hubane olustik, saab ringi vaadata, kunsti nautida ja kamina ees istuda.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t explore more thoroughly the beautiful hidden gallery, because the employee (I don’t know whether it is the owner/artist) was extremely unpleasant and rude to me. After he asked me where I am from, he looked at me with such a disgust that even the other visitor was extremely confused. After another rude comment about „lack of sufficient command of the language of the country I am currently based“, I decided to immediately leave the gallery as I felt already unsafe to stay alone. I solely wanted to peacefully explore the art pieces but was immediately harassed with the extremely negative attitude of the employee. Very unfortunate.
