Sisakuna Lodge

Our stay here was incredible: great food, super friendly staff, nice rooms, and the landscaping/garden/birds/butterflies were amazing. The location is perfect, close to town but just enough out of the way to be quiet. The only trouble staying here is that you won’t want to leave the hotel grounds, it’s that nice.

-A breakfast included (7:30-10:00) with the room: yogurt/fruit/granola, scrambled eggs/toast, & coffee/tea.

After the 2nd day, they asked us if we needed our room cleaned or more towels. (How Nice!)

-No mini refrigerator.
-No microwave.
-No rug at/inside door - a non rubber rug would have been nice as your feet/shoes often get wet from the occasional rain/pool.
-Not always an English speaking employee around, but there are a couple when needed.

Lobby/restaurant area has a nice open air area with lush greenery surrounding. Has a bar for other drink options.

There is a nice & well kept pool with a shallow area & 2 jacuzzi hot tubs 9am-8pm.
Use of Jacuzzi Hot Tub - time must be reserved at the front desk. (No charge)
A bit noisy around pool 'til it closes. Always kids when we were there.
There is a nice large water feature there, but rarely turned on. :( Loved listening to it.

Gorgeous garden hotel with friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Very peaceful and yet close to town. Nice pool and warm Jacuzzi. The jets are weak, and it's more about the bubbles, but the environment is stunning with flowers everywhere. Location close to town. Laundry service. One bed in the triple is a king and the other a twin. They communicated well before we arrived and accommodated our very late check in.

Amazing breakfasts, coffee and healthy shakes!

I recommend the rancheros.

My wife loved the tala Restrepo mugs.

Unfortunately the rooms are always fully booked when we visit!

We did not stay here but did have lunch at the restaurant. My friend and I shared a pizza with anchovies and it was very good. The third member of our party got ribs with maracuya sauce and very much enjoyed it.

It's a very nice place which we visited for coffee and breakfast.
The food, coffee and service were very good.
I am sorry we didn't have a chance to try dinner.
The place was open early in the morning,and I really liked to drink coffee while Mindo was still sleeping

Great food, lovely environment, reminded me more of a resort type environment than most places in Mindo. Great food.

Great location, enjoyed time at the pool and hot tub. Having a restaurant and bar right there is so convenient, the food and drinks were great. Rooms can be warm during the day but that didn't matter because they cooled off perfectly at night.

A very beautiful place in the town of Mindo, has a diversity of areas within its facilities, the restaurant has a variety of excellent food, the menu has various salads, entrees, pizzas, coffee, desserts, etc., there are cocktails in the bar area. In the back area is the swimming pool and the various rooms and suites. A place to visit to experience the gastronomy and beauty of the locality.

This is for the restaurant only. Great food and fast service, while accommodating our large party. Wood fired pizzas were excellent, entrees well prepared - even the espresso was good. Nice open air dining, surrounded by local flowers, birds and humming birds. Recommend for anyone looking for a dining location in Mindo.

I ate in the restaurant multiple times and enjoyed every visit.
In addition it’s one of the very few places you can catch a sports game.

A great experiencie. The food was amazing. The rooms looks comfortable and amazing shape. We try to sing a couple of song at the karaoke but it didn't work. The personel get us some cards so we can play. The passages are son beauty because of the nature and flowers and hummingbirds.

Amazing place to dine. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast and dinner there while in Mindo.

The restaurant was fabulous. The food was well prepared and the service was great.

Fantastic place surrounded by a marvelous garden with the highest diversity of birds. Choose “dome” to sleep in and definitely go birdwatching with Marcelo Arias. On walking distance to the restaurants in “town”.

What a marvellous place. Very connected to nature. Very laid back environment WHILE getting great service and really good accommodations. Good in the restaurant was great too. Great place.

This very nice hotel has several cosy lodges surrounded by beautiful natural environment. The people are very friendly and helpful. Food is also good. This is the best stay if you are going to make the routa de cacao.

Very nice place to eat or drink. Lots of tropical birds close by. Especially hummingbirds!
