Such an energizing, peaceful and historic site! The museum’s staff and security was AWESOME and extremely ATTENTIVE. Flor, our museum tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel like we traveled back in time.

I also noticed the museum’s products in their gift shop are ethically sustainable as their products come from local artisans and of direct fair trade (or from their own talented staff!). We also had Andrea, another museum staff member, share with us a few samples of the products and the unique significance of them.

Excellent staff, excellent artifacts, excellent scholars, and excellent service!

The whole place, I would recommend at least an hour (maybe 2) to go through the 4 exhibits + sacred / historic sites.

Very interesting place, most of all the circular pool. I hope that the English guide will send me the two photos he once took and that we were talking about last Wednesday!

Very interesting archeological place of the ancient culture of the Yumbos.

Very good museum providing information about the aboriginal people that inhabited the western Andean slopes of Ecuador: the Yumbos. The museum offers information about the past and present of the Yumbo region and you will visit the impressive ceremonial rock pools built by the Yumbos.

A nice experience not too far away from Quito.

La gente que atiende es muy amable. El espacio es limpio y bien señalizado. Es un lugar muy apropiado para tener conocimiento de las culturas aborígenes de la zona norte del Ecuador. Adicionalmente tienes contacto con la naturaleza. Motor es un perro 🐕 muy simpático y que recibe con mucha alegría a los visitantes y es muy amantes de las aves 😁

Maravilloso lugar. Para disfrutarlo un fin de semana, los recomiendo, Tulipe, su gente bien hospitalaria, tienen un hermoso Mirador dónde respiras vida. Los recomiendo

Un genial lugar para aprender la historia de los Yumbos, el pueblo que dominó el noroccidente de la provincia de Pichincha hace varios cientos de años. No es necesario hacer reservas y siempre hay guías que te pueden contar un poco más de la historia.

Este sitio está ubicado a menos de dos horas de Quito. Se recomienda ir en auto, aunque también se puede coger un bus desde el terminal Carcelén en Quito. La carretera está en buen estado y hay buenos platos como la tilapia frita o asada en Tulipe.

Lugar espectacular donde aprendes nuevas cosas y se abre la mente a nuevas inquietudes. Bien dice la máxima, "sólo sé, que nada sé " muy muy recomendado

Muy bonito lugar la gente acogedora,, los guardias del museo muy groseros y no saben tratar a los turistas extranjeros ni nacionales..
