The Pescatarian

Wonderful experience! Everything from the staff, interior and food was excellent and we both said it’s our new favourite restaurant. We loved how different chefs brought out the individual dishes. Also they called us the some hours prior to dinner to ask about any allergies, which was a nice touch. Thanks and until the next time!

This is the type of experience that elevates modern seafood dining to a new level. Beautifully arranged dishes presented by knowledgeable staff; warm and inviting interior; creative and sometimes surprising flavor and texture combinations. Sometimes the unknown wasn’t the fish or oyster in the center of the plate, but the herbs and vegetables that complemented it. Pricey, but very recommended.

This place was highly recommended to us from a lot of friends who have visited Copenhagen and now we know why they were so obsessed. It’s an absolute gastronomic experience, the flavours are one of a kind. The food is so well cooked, creative cuisine and on top of all, a great atmosphere with an flow less and professional team ready to go the extra mile so to complete this great culinary experience! A true fine dining experience in the city. Really beautiful food. The staff are really passionate and care about your experience. Knowledgeable and confident about the menu. Cocktail menu is great. Each dish was immaculately presented and bursting with flavours, scents and textures. I had a great time.

We all enjoyed a fabulous evening at this quaint corner restaurant. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail in the decor and ambiance, which made for a truly unique and memorable dining experience. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely sublime. I would highly recommend The Pescatarian and they offer Vegan and Vegetarian as an alternative to the seafood.

We ordered the chef’s choice menu and everything was delicious!

I am from Ukraine and the first two dishes mackerel and potatoes actually reminded me of home.

Our favorites were squid and monkfish, that had a very interesting sauce.

I would just says that the rhubarb dessert was a little too vinegary and acidic for me, burned my mouth a little bit, but my partner enjoyed it.

The complimentary bread and butter were super good too, couldn’t stop eating it!

Transcendent. Sublime. Best meal and service I’ve ever had. I say that as a native New Yorker. Rodrigo was our waiter. Pure perfection. Flawless. I’d live in Copenhagen just to go to this restaurant. A perfect way to spend our last night in this amazing city.

The food is phenomenal both in its taste as well as its presentation. Highly recommended. Do go for the cheese platter at the end, it has its own unique twist.

I had a very joyful and wonderful gourmet evening at the Pescatarian. The staff was very friendly and cheerful the whole evening. We had the chief‘s menu and every dish was a delightful experience for me. Even though the staff always explained every ingredients, I still forgot most of them and wondered what I was eating because sometimes just cannot tell. The atmosphere, the music and the presentation were all great. We made the reservation online.

Original review: I visited for the first time a year ago and was blown away by the food, service and value. Actually everything went so great that I was sure I had just been lucky enough to walk in on one of those “perfect nights” where everything just comes together.
Today I came back and discovered that no luck had been involved in my previous visit.
Again, amazing food. Delicious but also innovative in terms of presentation and ingredients.
Again, excellent service. Attentive, humorous and with great recommendations in terms of wine and drinks.
In the sea of great restaurants in Copenhagen, The Pescatarian is a shiny beacon that no one should deny themselves the possibility to visit. Highly recommended

Great restaurant with outstanding food and professional service.

Lovely place with lovely staff! We loved every single dish that we tried at the Pescatarian. The waiters and the chefs were extremely positive and polite. I’d point one amazing person - a British guy from Bath that would do his best to make us comfortable and enjoy our evening. Also the chef from the Faroe Islands who’d give us recommendations for our travel to the islands. And, omg - the rye bread from the beginning is something to die for. Great experience, great place. The only thing we didn’t enjoy that much were some of the weird paintings and that the restaurant was overcrowded and it was hard to hear each other.

Best service, quality price is correct... The staff was so friendly i cannot imagine better. It was a blast from arrival till leaving. I would definitely recommend going there. A good wine selection with awesome recommendations from the staff. Food was excellent. The oyster with flavor... OMG really good
