I've eaten here once a year when I visit Copenhagen for about the last 10 years now and the food and service are always very good. Friendly, cheerful people, high quality, real Italian food. I highly recommend visiting this place.

The staff went above & beyond to make it a special birthday dinner and a wonderful dining experience. Beautiful red roses and rose petals on the table, complimentary glasses of champagne, special musical performances by their talented & humorous guitarist/singer - including a unique birthday song! It was so much fun & the food was delicious!

We went here twice during our stay in Copenhagen. The restaurant was always busy with a lovely atmosphere. You can book online really easily for a same-day booking. The food was delicious and very authentic. The staff were very attentive and friendly, even singing in Italian with a guitar and bringing out sparklers for birthdays.

Honestly, it was an amazing experience! Felt like we were in Italy, authentic, super service, great food, and quantity is worth the price too!
(We tried both their 3 course menu’s and a la carte)
They even had Italian live music… we haven’t enjoyed a meal this much in a while!

I had a Quattro Fromaggi pizza and a tiramisu for dessert.

The pizza was incredible. The crust was light yet crispy, and it held the toppings very well. The cheeses themselves were well balanced. As for the tiramisu, it was excellent, one of the best I've ever had. It was generous yet didn't feel heavy at all, and the flavors were balanced.

Service was quick and very friendly. Furthermore, the restaurant itself is a delight. It is decorated in a cozy yet rustic way, very reminiscent of an old restaurant.

Overall, I would heartily recommend this place. It's a true, authentic italian restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen. If you are in the mood for italian food, you cannot go wrong with this location. I would even say it's a must!

Excellent restaurant, exquisite food, generous portions, well priced and great service. What more could you want? The ambience and decor of the restaurant is well thought out and it feels very authentic. Top marks and highly recommended. If we were locals in Copenhagen we'd be visiting regularly

We were in Copenhagen as tourists and happened upon this restaurant. It’s in a tourist area. So we had our doubts. However, we were absolutely blown away by the food and service. We had a bit of a wait, but the maitre’d was pleasant and kept us informed about a table (we had no reservation) while entertaining us as our table was prepared.

The food was fantastic. The restaurant was charming and cozy with a vintage Italian atmosphere.

Our friend - who was with us - is a chef, so we are always concerned with the food quality.

This restaurant did not disappoint. We had fresh carpaccio with veal as well as pizza and pasta dishes. All arrived with an acceptable wait time and hot, fresh and delicious.

The singing and music added a wonderful charm to our evening.

We were very surprised to find this Italian restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen tourist center - still producing quality food with great service and at a decent price (albeit Denmark is an expensive country).

We recommend Ristorante Italiano if you are in Copenhagen and your taste buds are craving Italian food. But suggest making a reservation to speed your entry along!

The food is very good, we’ve eaten pizza and pasta both of them were very delicious.
It is quite the experience with the staff as they are fast paced with an Italian manner, it is fun to be there. They are all happy and have a good humor. So altogether the atmosphere is I think unique and great.
You should get a reservation as it is frequented.
As all other restaurants in Copenhagen it was a bit pricey but a bit below other places.
