One word: Amazing

Having had not one but a couple of special requests for the dinner, which was a special occasion, they all have been met exceptionally and beyond my expectations.

All the staff have been sincerely kind and delivered an excellent service. The taste and presentation of the food has been amazing. The wine pairing was adventures and on point with the menu. A truly wonderful evening to remember.

Looking forward to dine here again when in Copenhagen !

This dining experience can be summed up as a leisurely exercise in trust. The ingredients were adventurous, like liver mousse with espresso powder shaped like a cherry. But the results were worth the wait, with unusual and stimulating dishes that challenge your assumptions. Several had original visual presentations, like the transparent ravioli.
The meal was length, around 4 hours for 15 dishes. The setting was cozy, modern, and clean. Service was friendly and attentive. Price was reasonable for the number of dishes. Recommended!

Can’t lie - I did have some doubt when I booked the reservation because of some negative reviews on google. This place was on par with other Michelin restaurants, and I can’t complain. Service was attentive, price was decent, and I appreciated the Danish cuisine mixed in. The servers are upfront about the long dining hrs (4.5 hrs for the larger menu) but do follow up to see if we wanted our next dishes to be served quicker. They also took the time to explain each course, which adds to the experience. The 3 snacks served before the course were fun bites - especially the sea urchin in cornbread. We left full.

Dining at the Kokkeriet Michelin-starred restaurant was an exceptional experience. The menu showcased culinary artistry, with beautifully presented dishes bursting with incredible flavors. The impeccable service, refined ambiance, and attention to detail made it a truly unforgettable dining adventure. Dishes of the night - wagyu beef and langustine.

We had a great time in this restaurant! I hosted a group of 14 people and we had our own private dining room and add to that our own powder room.

I think their prices are reasonable compared to other Michelin star restos in Copenhagen. Very good food presentation and the wine pairings were also very well thought of. We had a great hospitable host. He explained the dishes very well. Kudos to Kokkeriet! Will be back again soon!

This was my first Michelin star experience and I am so happy it was.

I ordered the large tasting menu and it was a journey. The flavors, the service, the sommelier all made for an AMAZING evening, one that I'll never forget. I thought I'd still be hungry after the meal but with this experience, I was extremely full and satisfied. This should go without saying but make reservations in advance!!

I loved everything about Kokkeriet, service, atmosphere, food. We tried the larger menu. I did enjoy most of my courses. I didn't enjoy 2 - 3 courses due to lack of flavours, other than that we loved everything about it.

It was very much worth the experience and price. You can tell why they earned their Michelin star. If you are looking for elevated Danish food, this is your new favorite.

The perfect old world restaurant with a large repertoire of foods, woven in various manners to enchant the palate. Every new dish was a flavorful adventure. Worth every cent.

An extraordinary experience at Kokkeriet! I had the pleasure to try the big menu containing 18 small dishes plus 4 extra dishes due to their “rising stars” concept where you can taste some test menus.

Overall I believe the food is some of the best fine dining in Copenhagen compared to other Michelin restaurants. We spent 5 hours in total and didn’t have to wait too much for the dishes. My favorite were the second test menu with Brisel and lobster. And also the danish national dish “stegt flæsk”. I really liked the execution of this dish!

One complaint: I believe you should handout the wet towels at the beginning. I get the idea why you would wait to after the snacks because you’ll eat with your fingers. But you should be able to clean tour hands even before the snacks. This is very common in Japan.

It was truly an outstanding experience.
We went with a vegetarian menu and a pescatarian menu along with the wine menu.

The food and the service were delightful, with few of the dishes literally mind blowing.

The wine menu offered new and unique flavors but doesn’t really do to add to the flavor of the food. You can consider the wine menu as a parallel experience in it self.

If you are there just for the food and service, my recommendation would be to discover which wine works for you and skip the wine menu.

Fantastic experience!! It was a 6hours long journey in a fantastic environment with an excellent service!!
Very polite and very well prepared waiter staff that was focus on the guest and that was able to answer all our questions (we had quite a lot!!).
Wine list is impressive (and expensive, as you can imagine, but it's part of the game!!)
Location is elegant, quite small but not noisy and I really liked it
Food is UNREAL, we were there for a 'testing Tuesday' so we had a chance to eat some test dishes and give our feedback to the team and I found this entire process of engaging with the clients fantastic.
I won't tell you anything about any specific plate, I really don't want to spoil your experience, you don't go to a place like this for a single dish, you want the entire package and I am not going to ruin it for you!! Just go, sit down, let them take care of you (they know how to do it) and enjoy your journey!!
Thank you to for the impressive dinner to the whole team!!

A sweet spot for high level Danish fine dining. Dishes are beautifully composed and the service is fast and attentive. Would love to see more meat options as all the meat dishes did raise head and shoulder above the, still extremely good, rest.

Amazing Dining Experience

Dining experience at Restaurant Kokkeriet had completed and made a wonderful ending of our trip to CPH. During our visit to the restaurant, we received professional front house services and tasted the amazing Danish dishes. We had an amazing experience at Restaurant Kokkeriet.

The front house service was fantastic and made you feel like one of the special.  They cared about your needs and paid attention to details. Wine and food were perfectly presented by waiter/waitress, chefs. Last but not least, we never waited for the wine and food; they were served in a perfect timely manner.

Food at Restaurant Kokkeriet was phenomenal. The courses were beautiful plated and very tasty. From light to strong flavor, every single ingredient worked perfectly together making one unique tasty dish that surprised your palate in every single bite. Every dish was so unique to standing out but well balanced to the whole menu. Wine pairing was very delightful and perfectly matched with the whole menu. And those sweet but refreshing desserts....mmm good.

Overall dining experience at Restaurant Kokkeriet was extremely great and far beyond our imagination and expectation. We would love to visit Restaurant Kokkeriet again and recommend to anyone who is visiting CPH.

Very nice experience here , as you expect from a michelin starred restaurant.
They have 4 tasting munu paleo, pescetarian,vegetarian and vegan of each you have the choice of the bigger or smaller menu which cost 1200 and 900, they all starting with 4 wonderful and tasty finger food from the house;
Wine pairing at extra cost.
In the pictures i chose the small vegetarian menu.
Staff very young , however delivers the best service and quality food in an elegant way so well done to them.
I will go back.

My husband and I had dinner at Kokkeriet in mid June while visiting Copenhagen. I enjoyed our time very much in this lovely city and the exceptionally pleasant dining experience in Kokkeriet really made a perfect memory that I wish to visit there again! I like the warm and cozy atmosphere and decoration with elegant touch. The dishes with wine pairing were so delicious and amazing. Together with the wonderful services provided, I highly recommend going to the Kokkeriet restaurant.

Kokkeriet serves not only a meal but story that respect yesteryear and traditional dishes by asking what's happening right now and where might we go next in the Danish dinning scene?

First thing, the staff from dishwasher, apprentice to sommelier and Chef these guys wants you to have a good time as much and to learn something about culinary tradition in Denmark.

From snack through appetizers and entres and the final bite of the meal every single ingredient is chosen with care and without compromise. Fresh in season and as local as possible and treated with the outmost respect. Curiosity and a bit of theater is add to make sure this is a meal to remember.

December is here and so I would like to express my gratitude to Sammy and Kokkeriet.

Having my internship at Kokkeriet were some of the best months of my life. I arrived as any other newbee preping veggies & bread and eventually was able to be on my own at a section during the service. Also learnt about protocol to present and explain dishes to guests. Always remember as well our super tasty staff meals and a nice beer with colleagues to close the night. Also met one of the bestest friends I could ever have.

Nowadays I am F&B manager and it wouldn't be possible without this experience. 🙏🏼💖

Thank you Sammy for your kindness and support, for welcoming me at your restaurant and let me live my dream of exploring Danish food culture as part of your team. Looking forward to be back to CPH to say hello, as well as to dine in! 🍷🇩🇰
