The Mormors restaurant is a quaint and cozy place. I happened upon this place because my phone was dying and needed a place to recharge. I ordered the egg sandwich, and it was the most delicious sandwich I had in Copenhagen. It reminded me of all the fresh sandwiches I had eaten in Japan. The elderly lady was very sweet and kind enough to charge my phone on her counter. I think the Danish Royals may have eaten at this place. That must say a lot about the freshness and the quality of the food served here. My sandwich came on a beautiful and fancy plate.

Very nice and cozy place to have a sandwich (to go or not) or drink a coffee with a delicious pastry option.
The service is good but the most beautiful for me is to sit on those unique tables and see the decoration. You will not get bored and I think it is original

What a cutie pie! 😍
Very unique place for a coffee in Copenhagen.
It is like having coffee in your grandma’s living room! 😍
It is full of details-I just love it!
As they told me-owner is the one baking all the pastries before opening and she is in charge of the interior design. 😁
It is pet friendly and I like that there are dishes for animals food.
Also-there is a bike parking.
I tried Danish pastry and I was nommy! 😍
You can pay both cash and card here.
Will definitely come back again. 😍
Two girls working there are also so nice and friendly.

If you miss having tea at your weird grandma's house, then this is the place for you. The staff was so lovely, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, no music blasting too loud or harsh lighting. The chai latte was sweet and hot, and the sandwich and muffin very yummy. I would really recommend this adorable quaint cafe if you're in the area.

The most stunning and friendly little coffee shop in Copenhagen, I popped in when it just opened at 10am on a Sunday morning and it was so lovely and quiet to enjoy the surroundings before the city buzz started. I got the juice and a little Danish pastry which was so fresh.. And just sat at the window watching the world go by. 100% recommend popping in if you come to Copenhagen ❤

When you are in Kopenhagen please don't forget to visit Mormors. It's a little koffee / lunch room with a super 70-ties vibe.

This coffee is really something special. They have decent coffee and hand made cookies muffins.

It was a nice experience. A lot of old stuff that really made the atmosphere cosy and "homely". With chipped cups and plates and old rags on the floors and scrambled furniture's it was really a Grand Mamas place. Will definitely go again.

Not bad place for coffee / tea.
Coffee is ok, cakes are too sweet to be honest.
But the atmosphere is pleasant, location is great, inside the cafe is nice 😊🥰

What a charming and delicious find as I was in the area desperate to sit down for a quick bite to eat between seeing the sights. The atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, and delicious pastries and coffee in a place that feels like grandma's home were just the ticket for rest and hygge! You must visit when in Copenhagen!

Very authentic and traditional danish bakery. Highly recommended if you are visiting Copenhagen and would like to try local sweets. Scones and coffee are top notch quality.

Very friendly and approachable staff. Cosy and welcoming ambience. Understand that the shop is family owned business.

Amazing cakes and such a lovely, homey experience. The carrot cake and the scones are out of this world, and the ambience is magnificent.

After getting married in Copenhagen, my husband and our friends and I went looking for a warm place to enjoy brunch.
We found Mormors by coincidence, and it made our wedding day even more special with its unique atmosphere.
The muffins are wonderful, and the scones are a great option for those who don't like overly sweet flavours.
The only small note, they should offer more 'salty' options.
However, all my thanks go to the very sweet waitress, who even though there were 10 of us, and our order was really complicated, she never stopped being nice.

My new favorite cafe in Copenhagen. It’s so cozy inside and it’s a lovely place to sit down and have a coffee or pastry. I had a cappuccino and a scone, both were excellent. The prices were fair and I will be returning very soon!! Thank you

Cozy café, its hard not to feel invited inside by the decor. Its a very uniquely decorated place which adds to the enjoyment of a coffee or snack.
No matter where you will choose to sit, i am confident you will find something amusing.
I enjoyed noticing that an hour had struck via cuckoo clock! 🐦
