Came here for Lunch and the food was amazing! Love the decor and feel of the place. One of the oldest restaurants in Copenhagen. Had the danish meatballs and roasted rib between us, did put the gravy on but didn’t get a pic. So so good! Worth a visit after a long stroll.

Very cosy and traditional restaurant.

The waitress was very kind to us and gave us good recommendations. She mentioned the place is the 3rd oldest cafe/restaurant in Denmark, which makes it feel even more special for travellers.

What a lovely old place! Great food and service - we had three dishes between two of us which was plenty with a large beer! Karina answered our numerous questions about the food and drinks on offer. She was very friendly and patient with us.
Would recommend this place highly for authentic Danish dishes served in a lovely old setting.

If you want a traditional Danish smorrebrod this is the place to come - in fact it was one of the few places my Danish wife and her Mor considered traditional smorrebrod. You should also try a shot of snapps with it and a beer for the full Dansk traditional lunch. The place is a gem, well worth a visit.

Friendly service, reasonable prices (for Copenhagen), and what felt like a really authentic Smørrebrød experience. I can recommend the ham and egg on rye and baked Camembert, for sure! 4 open sandwiches and 2 beers came to 430kr.

Several traditional danish meals for a reasonable price. Very delicious danish mestballs with red cabbage...must try! Warm fish filet with schrimps and caviar was very good too. You should try this restaurant if you are looking for a traditional danish cuisine on a reasonable price level! Thanks for the hosts! :)

Cafe Petersborg is everything that Denmark was many years ago. It looks like an inn or bodega did 20-30 years ago. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is friendly and welcoming and the food is top quality. Come here for a traditional Danish meal, enjoy a beer and leave satisfied 🙂

Bonus info: this is the only place in Copenhagen, to my knowledge, where you will get a hand written bill!

Old fashioned setting with really helpful staff and nice food! Definitely recommend visiting. Was very packed when we visited so we feel very lucky to have found a table for 4. Possibly book in advance?

Had lunch with wife and friends.
For SMØREBRØD don't pass this old restaurant up! Tall people duck your head. This place has been around for over 200 years!
Great food and service.

If you want real traditional Danish food, then this is the place to go. Different dish of the day for days of the week, big menu and lots of drinks to choose from. Biksamad is wonderful. We went for a family meal.
