Blåvandshuk Fyr

I have climbed up many towers in the last 40 years of my life, but Blåvandshuk Fyr is something else. Amazing views into a stunning landscape. Just see my pictures and you will understand what I mean!

Visited during winter with heavy winds: great experience

Breathtaking place! We really loved it, we experienced an amazing sunset view, nice and relaxing place, fresh air and great spot to be with your family and friends 😍

Nice Place to be, great outlook to the sea and a lovely lighthouse. A fresh wind will blow any sorrow away. At easter time there will be lot of sun and a light sea breeze.

Blåvand Beach is so beautiful, it’ll make your jaw drop. You get to Blåvandshuk parking by driving through Blåvand out to the nearby iconic lighthouse. The view from the lighthouse is amazing. Please be careful if swimming, since the west coast is known for deceiving riptides. Never leave children unattended.
The beach is a great location for social distancing, just resist the urge to shop in nearby Blåvand if you want to avoid people.

What a lighthouse-what a view!

This is the characteristically danish lighthouse and it does not disappoint.

The walk up the tower is rewarded by amazing views of the white sanded west coast of Denmark.

The beach itself with the views of the light tower rising above the sand dunes is yet another view you cannot miss.

We watched the sunset here. The wind is blowing like hell, but the view is so amazing. Perfect place to take a walk, and relax. There are some atomic bunkers, and also a lighthouse.

Amazing beach! Miles and miles of beautiful sand dunes. Well worth a visit. No toilets and no food trucks at the beach, or close to the beach.

The views from the top are the best! Located in the most western point in Denmark, you get a privileged position to look at the old WWII bunkers and the shooting field that the NATO and Danish military have in the area. Watch out for the red balloons in the posts - if they're up, there's a shooting practice and restrictions apply!

The lighthouse gives a beautiful view of the surrounding area. You could walk along the beach for hours and view various art installations

The view alone is worth it... the walk on the beach is more than worth it, even on a nice weather day the power of the wind and the water is so impressive.... seeing the WWII bunkers gradually being forced out of the massive dunes and falling onto the beach
