CLAY Keramikmuseum Danmark

Excellent ceramic exhibition with information about different clay types and processing parameters that result into different visual aspects of product. There is also shop where you can buy ceramic artworks. Cafe is here too

Amazing modern facilities, and the current exhibition is sensational. Staff were extremely helpful in explaining about the museum and providing information about the local area. Café had fantastic views across the little belt to the bridge.

I’m in love with this place. The display and curation is of very high standards. A must is a visit to the café that is connected subterranean to the museum with beautiful views of the surroundings

Very nice collection. Interesting designs. The shop is very big, the design clay artworks are truly unique.

A little museum with a garden with big ceramic sculptures. There is a cafe and a ceramic shop. The harbour and little town nearby is also worth walking around.

Wonderful museum, great presentation of the collection and the best café! Every time nice to come to Clay!

Great place with a lot of interesting art.
The art is spaced out, so you never feel overwhelmed in any particular room.
The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and the surrounding area fit the outdoors sculptures nicely. Walking distance from the train station too.
I'm definitely going back again!

Excellent record of the ceramics in Denmark. An indepth experience of ceramic art.

The different exhibitions during the year makes sure there is always something new to see and experience. Of cause there is always their beautiful Royal Copenhagen Collection at display. And you can visit the Cafe without entering the Museum if you just want a cup of coffee and a piece of cake with a nice view :) A beautiful place!

Live sculpting of pieces, I needed a souvenir ring so the jewelry was a given, love the service and how welcoming the staff and artists were.

Hidden pearl on the outskirts of Middelfart. Walk behind the museum named 'Clay' and you will be treated with a cozy café perfect for when the sky is blue. We had a sandwich and a glass of wine and shared their apple tart. All was good and reasonably priced. Expect about DKK150 per person.

Very nice and well funded exhibition. Not so big but worth a visit if you're in the area. They have both classic and contemporary items and host various exhibitions alongside their permanent exhibition.

The place is absolutely adorable.

This museum was beautiful! The grounds, the view, the cafe and most of all... The Art!
The sculptures were so unique, natural and inspirational. Recommend any art lover, anyone interested in design or architecture to visit!
