L'Osteria Rostock

Fantastic pizza!, great cocktails!. Staff kindly offered service and menu in english. We were asked to wait in the bar for some 5 minutes before getting a table.

Very nice restaurant located exactly in the city centre of Rostock, has very kind staff and good tasting dishes. The pizzas are actually pretty big size, what we didn't expect. If you plan to visit it on Friday evening or weekend, it's recommended to book in advance, as it can get full.

Great Italian restaurant with delicious and generous thin crust pizza, nice cozy place with great food and friendly service, you can sit outside or inside and also inside on the second floor, Big portions so you can share a pizza or pasta and even a salad with someone else and still have plenty for both.
You can ask them for the english menu.
I strongly recommend it.

We have ordered pizza capricciosa - it was very good. I was surprised with the wine they serve, home wine Pinot Grigio - it was also very good. Fast and polite service.

The taste is quite nice and the pizza portions are quite large. So, I guess 1 pizza is enough for 2 people.

We dropped by without a reservation, they still found a table for us. I ordered panzerotti spinaci and it was amazing, prices are moderate. My friend was also happy with her choice.

Brilliant pizza, great service, and sooo too big for the big plates

A pizza as large as a hub cab. I have seen many large pizze in my life, but this one beats it all. Just look at the picture (silverware for scale) to see how big that thing is. It's best to skip eating all day and go there for dinner. The pizza was amazingly good. Nice thin crust. One would think that the toppings are spread on thinly. But considering the size of the pizza, there is quite a lot of stuff on it. Espresso comes without lemon peel.

The experience of ordering and then receiving a pizza the size of your own body is amazing. And is this large item good? Delicious! Thin crust with fresh toppings. My favorite is the Rucola pizza and it is absolutely lovely. I’m not super happy with the wine and mixed drinks here because they taste watered down and sugary. However, you can always play it safe and order a beer. Their beers are on point.

Awesome place. Excellent pizzas... Not just the taste but the huge size. Pizza is two times the plate!

We dined here twice in a week. The service is friendly and expedient even though the place is pretty busy. The pizzas are very good and VERY big (one is enough for two persons). I had a tasty pasta dish. The Tiramisu was fair albeit it was missing Marsala. English is spoken.

The pizza's are really good and for the price perfect we payed in total 18 euro's per person for a pizza and drinks. Believe me if i say that the pizza's are really big you're not going to leave the table still hungry. Would definitly recommend with friends or family to come here. They also speak english and some italian (not all waiters but some).

L‘Osteria really makes my favorite pizza. It always delivers and never disappoints in whatever city you go.
Also the locations they choose are usually really nicely decorated.
You probably think I’m snooty but unfortunately my wine was really warm. Way above room temperature. Maybe in the future you can take better care of that 🙏🏻
