Café A Rebours

Very very cozy café close to the city centre in Rostock.
The vintage style and the jazz music give a great vibe. The food is delicious and the staff very kind and fast.
Strongly recommend.

A beautiful little shop in Rostock with plenty of aesthetic appeal. We were greeted by the barista who immediately switched to English and a warm greeting. We enjoyed a wonderful cafe latte and dessert made from scratch. Highly recommend you take time to visit this gem!

Lovely cozy place with old-fashioned furniture, great cakes (Mississippi Mud Pie is a must) and good coffee at very reasonable prices. Oh and the service is lovely too. ☺

If you miss your grandmother's cakes, you will definetely love this small, cozy, friendly place. The apple-sourcherry flan was newly out of oven and the owner was very kind to still give us a slice as my husband likes it warm. It was super delicious. Make sure to have a reservation before going. It is quite busy as can be guessed.

An all-time favourite for years. Always warm and welcoming with terrific owners who make you feel at home.

Das kleines, schönes, uriges Café. Nicht nur von den Möbeln sondern auch vom Geruch fühlte man sich in die Kindheit zurückversetzt, wenn man als kleiner Butscher bei Oma und Opa zu Besuch war.
Nach einem herzlichen Willkommen und einer kurzen Sichtung der wirklich vollen Getränkekarte wurde auch schon die erste Bestellung aufgenommen. Vorher gab es noch eine Erklärung, welche leckeren Torten es heute gegeben hat. Mit acht Personen wurde alles querbeet bestellt.
In allem war alles super lecker, vom normalen Kaffee über Kaffee Spezialitäten bis zu den Tortenstücken! Große Portionen und alle sind satt geworden.
Bei einer super nette Bedienung haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und preislich wären es sogar 10 Sterne! Absoluter Tipp, wenn man in Rostock ist und Lust auf eine Reise in die Vergangenheit hat. Vielen Dank!

Ich kannte den Laden noch gar nicht aber mir hat’s gefallen .. Freundliche Bedienung , angenehme Gäste.. ich komme wieder .. Es gibt eine übersichtliche Karte und auch selbstgemachte Kuchen

Tolles Café mit super Personal und sehr guten Torten, sowie großer Getränkeauswahl. Gemütliches, zum verweilen einladendes Ambiente. Kommen gerne wieder. Plus Punkt: Hafer-Milch kostet hier nichts extra.

Beim Betreten wirkt es etwas einängend, wenn man dann am Platz ist vergeht das.

Immer wieder gerne. Sehr gemütliches Café, in dem viel Herzblut steckt. Die Torten sind immer frisch und unfassbar lecker.

Gutes essen und leckerer Kaffee, der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr gut gefühlt. Schönes kleines Kaffee, für mich, perfekt fürs Frühstück.
