Loved this hotel! Amazing river view. Spotless rooms, great bedding and the breakfast can't be beat, especially when you eat it on the terrace where the grapevines make a beautiful canopy! The hotel is located right in the historic market square and just short walk to the castle ruins.

Delicious lunch. They do a seasonal menu based around chanterelles in summer and the portions were large as well as very well made.

Excellent food and very kind and friendly staff. From the outside area you have a beautiful view across the Mosel.

We had a very pleasant lunch at Stadtmauer on a warm and sunny April day. Sitting there staring at the beautiful Mosel was very relaxing. We ordered the salas witch cheese and some roast potatoes. The salad was very good, nothing special, but good. The staff was very friendly which only added to the wonderful experience we had there. I Can only recommend it!

Hotel and rooms completely renewed. Very well done. All personnel and owners are super friendly. Food is excellent. The litle town has a nice atmosphere.

Can only comment on the restaurant, which served one of the best meals I have eaten in Germany. This was devoured in a very cosy atmosphere while looking out at the Mosel on a rainy Sunday.

Wir waren zum Essen da. Haben durch Google das Restaurant entdeckt und waren vom Standort angetan.
Als wir ankamen, wurden wir freundlich empfangen. Das Essen und speziell der Salat waren so lecker. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis einwandfrei. Kommen da gerne nochmal zum Essen vorbei!! 😊

Wir waren bei unserem Moselurlaub in Ellenz-Poltersdorf leider erst zu spät in diesem tollen Restaurant! Wir haben hier 2 x gegessen und getrunken. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und der Wein natürlich auch: die "Alten Reben" vom hauseigenen Weingut haben es uns echt angetan. Dazu die wirklich sehr nette, aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Bedienung...
Wir haben definitiv ein neues Lieblingsrestaurant! Preis / Leistung ist aus unserer Sicht super. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr.

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Wir wurden schnell bedient. Aufgrund von starken Rauchern im Außenbereich, konnten wir uns später ohne Probleme reinsetzen. Dort ist es sehr schön eingerichtet. Meine Vorspeise war die Tomatensuppe, welche mega lecker war, aber noch viel besser war das Brot und der Dip dazu. Alles war selbst gemacht.
Mein Hauptgericht war das Tagesangebot, das Kalbskotlett. Super Qualität, saftig und zart. Kann ich nur empfehlen! Lediglich hätte ich als Beilage die Bratkartoffeln statt der Pommes nehmen sollen. Die hatte meine Freundin nämlich zum Rumpsteak und das Gericht war phenomenal, zum niederknien gut.
Wenn wir nächstes Jahr wieder hier auf der Ecke sind, werden wir definitiv wieder kommen, auch wenn wir ne Stunde fahren müssen!
