With an amazing view, we had their sea food platter.
Whatta platter it was 😍😍😍

Its enough for two people along with drinks else enough for single person.

The atmosphere and interior and view of the Ost See were beautiful.

Delicious meals all around. The restaurant accommodated our party of 10 with ease and service was prompt and on point. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

A few comments:
*fish soup was very good and a much larger portion than expected
*baked oysters were DELICIOUS! A must-have if you love oysters
*goat cheese appetizer dish was super
*the main fish dishes and the schnitzel were also DELICIOUS
*you can request a dish made a certain way with specific sauces to your liking, and you can add vegetables like asparagus to your meal

During busy times, you’ll need a reservation. We made a reservation a week before but somehow it got lost? Luckily, we went when it wasn’t crowded so they were able to accommodate our party immediately.

I definitely recommend this restaurant if you love seafood, and there are enough appetizers and non-seafood dishes for those not into fish. The only comment I have is to perhaps put 1-2 delicious non-pasta veggie/vegan dishes in there for those who want to join a group for a meal. Thank you!

The riverside location makes it exciting. We visited the place for dinner watching over the Sunset. The English menu too was almost like a German menu, which makes it a bit overwhelming. We ordered a creamy Pasta with Salmon and King Prawns with Salad. Quality of fish was superb. We loved it.

Our experience at Borwin's Restaurant was great. They have an english menu. The restaurant is right on the water and offers some beautiful views. The main ingredients are fish and there are other options. The seafood platter was excellent. Overall we had a very enjoyable evening and would definitely go back there. I'm giving 5 stars because the food was really great and the service too. It is definitely recommended to book a table in high season.

Beautiful sunset view. Food was delicious! And plenty of it! I tried the Ostrich filet. It was amazing! Went with a large group of 21 and they handled us quite well. They even had a menu in English for us lazy Americans. Lol.

We had the most amazing lunch here. The seafood was very fresh, nicely cooked. Absolutely delicious! We had seafood plate with lobster tail and Asian-style salmon. I think the price was very fair for the quality! The service was very pleasant as well.

The restaurant is busy so takes some time to get your meal. However, there are so many choices! Fish and seafood platter was excellent! Service was super! Definitely recommend!

We were there once. The food was a bit expensive, but good quality. The service was not so good. I asked a recommendation from the servant I just said I am tired of asian food and he looked at me and laughed like crazy . I think because I am Asian , he made fun of me in someway.. he went and ignored us for the rest of time we were there..

The seafood platter was amazing. Simply fresh goods, each well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I’m usually very critical about food but couldn’t find anything to complain. Great service, very friendly staff. Definitely would travel again from out of town just to dine here.

Top-notch food, great choice of dishes... for fish lovers, mind! Nice, though somewhat compact, variety of meat or vegetarian courses, desserts and starters. But something for every palate to choose from, proper portion size, both nicely composed and arranged on the plate.

Service was on par, attentive, friendly and discrete.
Wine choice especially of the white wines was a surprise with some extraordinarily high quality German wines, although somewhat lacking on the red side. A Pinot Noir or Blaufränkisch would probably habe been a nice addition.

Location and view are appealing, especially from the sea side. The interior is plush, comfy with ample space and inviting, although it could do with a little makeover here and there. The charme and athmosphere of welcome is however not diminished the slightest.

Overall a true gem and long-standing recommendation, even more so for fish coinesseurs.
The reviewer had oysters gratinée, halibut fillet and cinnamon gelato with hot plums, accompanied by the breathtaking 2018 Wegeler GG Jesuitengarten.

It is awesome. I went to fish restaurant and my food was excellent. Yes, it is really recommended to order table in advance - this place is well recognised by local people.
So, very good kitchen, super service and finally - desert. I was impressed because for long time I tasted a super cheesecake made from Philadelphia...and it was not only cheesecake on a plate - it was accompanied with super ice cream and fruits. Well, I believe this restaurant may compete with many other restaurants.
So, highly recommended

Our favorite fish restaurant in Rostock. The outside roof deck looks out on the water and has a great sunset view as well. Service and quality are top. I highly recommend the baked oysters paired with a French Rosé wine.

This is really a nice place to eat, near the dock, you can enjoy your meal with a view. Food is really good, though you need to be ready spend some money as this place is not cheap
