Focused on reducing plastic waste, you may need to bring bags or jars to take the groceries with you.
The staff is super nice and very interested in learning and improving. They're still starting and need a lot of support, please go try it!
We had delicious bean mix rolls and the juice came with a glass straw!
Loved it, I really hope they do well, they deserve it!

I visited Pure Note for a “quick bite” this afternoon upon recommendation from a colleague. I was expecting it to be a vegan packaging free grocery store with a restaurant (as the description said) but what I found was a unique experience in itself. Pure Note truly cares about nature and wastage in so many different ways. The food is great ofcourse … but not only that. Every corner of the store/ restaurant is packed with thoughtfulness. The select fresh veggies in the shop when ripened are thoughtfully used in the restaurant kitchen to create varied regional cuisines. I had South African dish today. The leftover sauces are vacuum packed and sold in recyclable glass jars that customers bring back for a refill next time or get back the caution money for the jar. There is minimum wastage. Fresh grains, cereals also detergents can be bought in reusable containers. The store also promotes artistic handmade articles like baskets, cotton hand embroidered bags, etc from local artists and suppliers. There is a thoughtful corner with books for kid’s who visit the restaurant and cozy little garden space. I met Marcel the owner out of curiosity and I was not surprised to find a kind hearted human being in him. He handed me this post card with a painting of the store made by his neighbor 😊.
I highly recommend Pure Note for their thoughtfulness and caring attitude which reflects in their cuisine.

Tasty homely food and a lovely staff.

I love the concept of an packaging free store. We have a lot of them back home. This was the first time I visited one in Germany. This one was organic as well. You get different types of lentils, grains, oil, nuts, muesli, chocolate, etc. You can also refill your bottles of dishwasher detergent, washing machine detergent, hand soap, etc.There were fresh fruits and vegetables. There were also cosmetics and toiletries. They have an in house cafe. The staff was very friendly and one of them spoke English. For buying anything, you first weigh your container, then fill the box. At the cash counter, they will weigh it and subtract the weight of the box. If you don't have a container, there is a box containing containers donated by other customers. There are also paper bags. Overall, it's a great store.
The only downside is that it's quite expensive. Its not affordable for shopping for groceries for everyday use. I would shop here more often if they could find a way to lower the prices or get non-organic stuff as well (still keeping with the packaging free concept).

I absolutely love the atmosphere in pure note. It’s great to see a concept coming to life and also working like a good old clock! Always greeted with a smile and definitely a pleasurable experience.

So ein schöner Ort. Überall liegt Obst und Gemüse in Kisten, liegen Gewürze oder andere Lebensmittel zwischen den Regalen und alten Holztischen.
Bei Pure Note kann man unverpackte Lebensmittel kaufen und auch gemütlich einen Kaffee trinken und dazu ein Stück Kuchen essen.
Ich hatte einen Birnen-Mohn-Kuchen. Der war sehr lecker.
Auch abends gibt es hier eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre mit schönem Licht.

Sehr netter und gemütlicher Unverpackt-Laden, in dem man auch Frühstücken oder einfach nur Kaffee trinken kann. Der Kaffee schmeckt gut und sehr zu empfehlen ist auch der Erdnuss-Bananen-Kuchen!

Toller laden! Neben leckeren und praktischen unverpackten Waren kann man auch leckere Getränke innen und außen genießen :) auch das Jazz Konzert hat uns hier sehr gut gefallen!

Nous avons passées une superbe après-midi dans ce café, plein de charme (et quelques surprises francophones !). Nous avons pris un latte macchiato avec du lait d'avoine mousseux et onctueux et le personnel nous a également recommandé une delicieuse bière du coin. Petit plus, le personnel parle français ! Des événements ont lieu selon les différents soirs, donc parfois le lieu est soumis à réservation. Un large choix de produits en vrac et de gâteaux et de plats faits maison. Je recommande 100% 🌿

Sehr leckeres, frisches Essen! Neben der allgemeinen Karte gibt es auch eine Tageskarte mit drei wechselnden Gerichten. Service sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und vor oder nach dem Essen kann man zusätzlich noch super unverpackt einkaufen!

Das Essen schmeckt unfassbar lecker und ist so liebevoll angerichtet. Ich habe die Polenta mit Ratatouille und Salat gegessen und zum Nachtisch ein Lebkuchen- Dessert. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar, vorallem für vegane und glutenfreie Gerichte in dieser exzellenten und frischen Qualität. Die Weine passen super zum Essen und zum Dessert hat der Latte Macchiato mit Haferdrink gut gepasst. Die Kellner*innen sind super zuvorkommend und sympathisch, das Essen war unfassbar schnell da. Die Location ist total gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr zentral gelegen. So gut waren wir selten Essen. Vielen lieben Dank an das ganze Team, wir kommen gerne wieder!
