I had such a wonderful time there! This is the place where you can spot a lot of wild animals and even feed a deer from your hands!
You can bring some vegetables with you but there’s also machines where it’s possible to buy a cup of food pellets for just 1€.
The entrance is free, all the paths are wheelchair accessible. There’s a lot of places for rest, a few children playgrounds and a public bathroom.

Wald Wildpark in Grafenberg offers a refreshing escape for families in Düsseldorf and the region, Lots of paths, majestic animals, provides good infrastructure for an outside lunch too. The deers are very well used to humans allowing visitors to connect with the nature! Ideal for families and nature enthusiasts.

It was a nice experience, it was less crowdy between 2-5 on weekend. The narrow road from main bus/tram stop is a bit rough for prams, and its a slight steep.
Only the deer are without barricades and it was so fun to see them being cuddled by everyone. My baby had a real fun experience.
They grain kind of food available there was not so welcoming by the animals. They loved apples and carrots but make sure they are cut. I thought they would eat the whole like cows do but they ditched the carrots and apples I offered..lol.. No entry fees, no cafe (at least I didn't see any) or anything such around except ice cream truck. Washroom is available I guess.

The wild park is located near the Wald and the entrance is free. People visit mostly with their families and kids. There are a variety of animals in the park and you can feed them. Also there are seats and tables for eating. Nice place, full of peace . ♥

My 3 year old loves going there! Mom loves not spending a dime on tickets :)

They have stags, pigs, deer ect. You can bring your own apples or carrots (or buy feed there) to feed the animals. There is a big playground with picnic benches in the middle that is fun for kids to break it up the excitement. Can spend a couple hours to an afternoon there.

Please note you will need €1 coins to buy food! You can bring your own vegetables and fruit for the animals, but I can assure you that none of the animals like carrots. Many people brought carrots, but the deer refused to eat the carrots but liked fresh apples and the food pellets from the €1 food dispenser.

This is a great place to see deer up close. The other animals (racoons, squirrels, foxes, wild pigs) seem to hide a lot.

And it's free to enter the park!

Fantastic park to take kids or just for a different date idea. Take carrots for the deer, they’ll appreciate it. You have as well machines to buy seeds to feed the animals with for 1€ a cup.

A very nice park with gazelles (?), squirrels, raccoons. We went on Sunday, it was raining and not busy. The entrance is free. It's a nice, peaceful place to go for a walk. Some animals were sleeping and we didn't see them.

This is not the first time I come to this wonderful park. and every time I get a lot of positive emotions. this time I was finally able to see the ever-hidden fox, and the raccoons were very cute today.

My most favourite place is when I want to be close to nature. No entry ticket, huge free parking place, good walk through the nature, some wild animals - everything you want in a wild park. It's a great place to be during weekends and for whole family.

Beautiful 🤩 kids playground, nice car parking areas With a size of 36 hectares, the wildlife park in the Grafenberg Forest is one of the larger parks in Düsseldorf. It is one of the oldest wildlife parks in Germany and only shows native animal species. A more than 200-year-old beech forest is located around the free-roaming areas and enclosures for the animals. Good maintenance!

Awesome place, nice to walk around on a lazy day and see the animals. You can also take carrots or apples, or buy food at the vending machines there to feed some of the animals.
Perfect to go with children, but also nice to go with friends, your partner or even alone to spend some quality time outdoors.

Large park, like a forest park. You can see wild boars, squirrels, deer, hares. Animals can be fed. Lots of space to walk. You can walk with a stroller and children.

Wonderful place and must go on list when visiting Dusseldorf, Germany. Best place to go with kids and spend 4-5 hours in control wild environment. You can take your own food and sit in trees and enjoy along with beautiful animals. I will also suggest to take carrots and some other food which you can feed to animals. Also having a walk in the trees and listening to bird voices and water will make you relax. Kids upto age 10 will enjoy ot more and a wonderful place to show them jungle environment. 10/10.

Free parking, free entrance. Great for an outing with small children. Food cups are €1 each. There are several fenced in areas for larger deer and wild pigs, and then a large area you can walk through with free range deer. Ice cream truck in the parking lot made for a great end treat. I recommend bringing bug spray and hand sanitizer. The mosquitoes were terrible today.

This Wildpark is a great place to visit with your children. I was amazed that we were allowed to feed apples to the deers ourselves. The children loved to walk around between the animals!
