Filmpalast am ZKM

It's nice that there is an IMAX in Kalsruhe. Overall the experience was good but definitely scope for improvements from the maintenance. For example, it would be a great experience if the kino was maybe ventilated more or added klimanlage because it smelled quite uncomfortable (old wet smell). But otherwise, good :)

Amazing place, very large cinema screens, nice amenities and good food as well. Would recommend to anyone passing through Karlsruhe.

Nice experience overall, can recommend. The bathrooms weren't very clean, but that's more the guests fault.

Staff are fantastic!! I left my headphones under a seat last night. I realised it when I was sat downstairs having dinner after the film. I panicked first but they were found and taken down to the main desk where I handed them. Thankyou!!

The place is modern and has an urban feel. The best feature it has of course is the IMAX theatre. Every cinema fan will definitely appreciate it. In terms of food and drinks Filmpalast has a lot to offer. There's something for every taste. The only con are the occasional 'Warteschlangen' in front of the cashier desks.

Came here to see the new Star Wars movie. The cinema is huge and offers a wide variety of in-house snack bars, so it feels quite comfortable. When the movie started, though, I was quite literally blown away..the sound system is amazing! Tickets aren't cheap, but so worth it for a very cool experience.

You can pick exactly what you want. Only want HD? Sure. You want IMAX 3D HFR OV also got that and everything between. Can only recommend.

Great place to come to watch a film with friends. Most films are in German but they also offer them in English sometimes (OV) when it's a very anticipated film. They have a parking place, and also close to a tram stop so it's easy to come.

Great imax experience though it's 4k digital projection, nonetheless it's damn good. If you are coming out from City is 25 minutes by walk or 15 minutes by local transport. Overall everything was decently great.

Huge IMAX screen with a great Dolby Atmos setup. Perfect for contemporary blockbusters.

English (OV - Original Version) presentations are shown frequently.

We bought tickets online so there wasn't any waiting. Food prices are good. The employees are friendly and speak English.

Really nice IMAX theatre with good seating. Excellent sightlines. They show English movies without subtitles which is great!
