ALEX Potsdam

Somebody on the street in Potsdam recommended this place to us for a milchkaffee. We went in for lunch. It is in a shopping mall and does not look like a fancy restaurant from the outside. Inside though, the service was super and very friendly. The menu was actually a booklet, such choice they offered! The milchkaffee was indeed excellent and so was the food we ordered. It was not expensive either. This is really a super high-quality place that needs to be discovered!

We came from Berlin for a day trip and found this place online. They had tables for two and we were able to choose where we wanted to sit we didn’t need a reservation for lunch time. Our waiter was amazing!!! We couldn’t get his name sadly but he was tall with blonde hair in a bun, his English was amazing as well!! The food was delicious we ate everything we received and the drinks were really yummy esp the mango rosemary iced tea. The nachos were great as well! And French fries were just right. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay and relax. Calm area. Service is friedly and fast. The ice cream bowls are delicious and not overpriced.

Alex is one of our favorite places. Tasty, not expensive, nice atmosphere, always a great experience! 👍

Lovely food, large portion sizes and kind staff

Good place to eat in Potsdam, great service and a large selection of different foods, drinks and desserts, sure to find something for everyone’s taste. Highly recommended!

Very open spacial and good chef food. Staff extremely polite and helpful and served with smiles 😁. Toilets 50.cents entry but open no charge.

I would give 6 stars if I could. The lady who served us both coffees and our lunch was exceptionally friendly and spoke good English which compensated for our very poor German. The coffees were with vegan milk (something we have found rare in Berlin) and delicious, here was vegan apple pie and then we had a vegan superfood salad and vegetarian burgers made vegan by omitting the cheese. All of which were incredibly tasty, perfectly flavoured and wonderfully presented. The lady was even kind enough to refill our drinking bottle with ice cold drinking water. Exceptional service and quality.

We have brunch here every Christmas day. The selection of cold and warm, breakfast and lunch items is great. Tasty, tasty. Warm and cozy environment.

Sorry for not having the plates full, I could not wait for having this delicious breakfast. You can find everything that you may call as breakfast. From French breakfast to English breakfast, of course German and Italien. You should give a try ;)

The service of Dennis and Janice was excellent, they served our party of 15+ all night long incredibly professially and nicely, providing excellent assistance throughout.
