Café Palaver

A hidden jem for brunching in Karlsruhe! Inside an inner garden surrounded by an open market for bicycles. The cafe is a cozy place full of people blending families with babies with friends and older generations. Home made brunch, a variety of vegan and vegetarian options and amazing cakes! I had the farmer’s omelette, tea and then I couldn’t resist to a piece of almond cake!

Food is great and the atmosphere is nice. The service is a little bit slow but overall ok.

Good food for fair prices. We had breakfast here and it was tasty. The location is also very nice. In the summer you can sit outside. Staff was friendly.

It's a wonderful place for a laid back meal and hang out with friends (kids also have a few dishes to choose from in the menu), definitely not for a business meet.
The food is really tasty and reasonably priced. The location is quite unusual and unique - even in November some diners were sitting outside. Most were seated inside though, or in (my in-between favourite) the Wintergarten. The service is really nice and the cakes at the bar delicious.

Breakfast for 2 is the best thing ever.

Warm and cozy cafe. It is pretty big too. Large selection of drinks and pastries. The staff is very friendly too.

Love the place, the vibe and the food. The breakfast is amazing, a lot of variety and super fresh. I went with my mother and my aunt (60 years old each). They were scared about the “brunch” concept but then they get very impressed! We order Früstuck fur swei with eggs, orange juice, yogurt and the main dish with fruit, cheese and ham and a lot of bread.
