Really large park with a wide range of activities for every age at any time in a year. Basketball court, running routes, bike lanes, calisthenics park, skate park are what the park offers you. You can always enjoy the fresh air and feel the sweet breeze in the springtime, and maybe around March and April prepare to obligatorily gasp when you see the blooming cherry blossoms. On summer days, having a picnic is a great idea. On days with a clear sky, one can go up to the summit Olympiaberg (Olympia mountain) and have a panoramic view of the whole city (and even further!). If you are lucky, you might as well be just in time to see a rainbow. In the fall, the color-changing trees are a must-see. And in winter, the winter wonderland is what awaits you with the snowy hills and icy branches. Plus, quite a fireworks show at New Year's Eve. Truly a wonderful place to be at any time of the year.

The park is absolutely breathtaking. It might be a bit out of the city but is definitely worth a visit. We only went for the views but there is so much more to keep you busy at the park which is also located next to BMW World.
The day was quite clear and we could not only see the Alps but also a stunning sunset. This is a great place to go for a relaxing walk or to have a picnic.

What a beautiful park. There is a ton to do in the park and so much to see. I would recommend making this a stop on your visit and taking the time to explore each inch. I would also recommend doing it via a scooter. You can see a ton very quickly. This could also be a nice space for a picnic in the afternoon. They also do a great job in the memorial of those killed during the Munich games. A great place to spend some time!

The fireworks on the New Year were pretty nice (and wild). We were near the lake, not on the mountains, and the view comprised of fireworks in all directions. The park is green and the lake also looked beautiful at night.

Excellent experience. I was there 20 years ago and i can say the magic is still there. I was at the Olympia tower and the view was magnificent.

On New Year's Eve, everybody seemed to be heading to this place. They said there would be fireworks. And boy, oh boy, fireworks there were!

People came in well prepared with food and wine and beer, with extra clothing and spreads, with Bluetooth speakers and torchlights.

It was truly an unforgettable night and a great way to usher in 2024.

I had an amazing time just walking around the park and admiring the views and just vibing. When we arrived there, there was a carnival and really bright lights, big rides, carousels darts, games and an upside down ride, which was really fun. I went with my friends and really enjoyed it. At the end We had some delicious crêpe and some cold drinks to end the day. The walk around the park didn’t take long it took about 30 to 35 minutes to walk around the park and it was really relaxing and enjoyable but just keep in mind that there are people with bikes that like to ride fast so I suggest staying in one side so that you won’t get hit!

We stopped by here over the summer. If you like walking around places or sports, this is a pretty cool venue to see. You can walk down to the field(although we couldn't stay long as they were setting up for a concert in the summer). Being down at field level makes you understand how big the stadium actually is! A roof walking tour is also offered, just be sure to check for events as they do not hold the tour while setting up for events for obvious safety reasons. There is the indoor Olympic pool that is still being used today. Don't forget to stop and take a picture of the Olympic rings before you leave!

The park is absolutely magnificent. It is worth a visit, when you plan to visit the BMW museum, which is located right outside.

was perfect place to make a round trip with surf skateboard, but with the new loose gravel pavement only the squares are good to skate around if you don't want to slow down bike traffic.
however now it's redeemed because it is a family friendly snow sliding wonderland

Wonderful atmosphere in the park. Large, sprawled & very clean with vast stretches of green all around with water bodies. Ideal for spending a sunny summer day walking or cycling. Lots of benches thrown in for resting as well. The ice hockey arena & the museum for marine lives is a must visit.

The park in Munich is absolutely gorgeous; if you are in the city, you must visit it. Additionally, near the lake, there is a tower from which you can enjoy panoramic views of the park and its surroundings from the heights.

Beautiful park it’s a must see if you are visiting nearby. The stadium itself is historic and very well kept. Do an afternoon sight seeing the park as well, a real gem in the heart of the city.

Olympiapark in Munich is a dazzling testament to the union of form and function, a park that is as scenic as it is symbolic. Constructed for the 1972 Summer Olympics, the park has since evolved into a multi-purpose venue that epitomizes Munich's dedication to both athleticism and aestheticism.

The park is effortlessly accessible via Munich's public transport network. You can take the U-Bahn U3 line and disembark at the Olympiazentrum station. From there, it's a short walk into the heart of the park.

Olympiapark boasts a wealth of facilities—stadiums, lakes, hills, and even a television tower that offers panoramic views of Munich's skyline. Whether it's concerts, sports events, or leisurely pursuits you're interested in, Olympiapark caters to a diverse range of tastes.

On a personal note, living next door to this urban oasis has been a privilege. Our daily rituals of morning walks and reading sessions amid the tranquil surroundings have elevated the quality of our everyday lives. The place is not just a backdrop but a character in our story—a silent companion in our quests for mindfulness and fitness.

The park is not merely a feast for the eyes; it is sustenance for the soul. Each stroll through its meticulously landscaped pathways is a step into a bubble of serenity that shields you from the bustle of the city, if only momentarily. Olympiapark has been our sanctuary, and it's easy to see why it holds a special place in the hearts of both locals and visitors alike.

Amazing park, with easy access through U-bahn line. Plenty of space for outdoor as well as indoor activities (sports ginasium, swimming pool, aquarium, museum, etc). It is worth to hike to the higher spot to see the park from the top. Good for kids and for sport practioners.

The best park I visit ever in Munich. Well managed and organised park. Love Olympic village and sea life. A beautiful lake in the middle of park is a nice touch and making this park more beautiful.
There’s a high point in park from where you can enjoy the view of whole park as well as Munich city and you will not be disappointed. There’s a lot of reasons to visit this park as many things around so worth to be here.

Very well designed park.
We traveled by bicycle but if you want to admire much more you gotta walk.
If you want to see the best sunset you gotta climb the hill, it's not that easy but is worth it.
Fact: in this park in 1972 were The Olympics.
