St Barbara's Cathedral

So much wealth and power was centered in Czechia for centuries. The silver mines provided the kings of centuries past vast resources and the money and effort devoted to their religion is amazing. The cathedral rivals all major cathedrals in the world for scale, beauty, and wealth.

Such a beautiful cathedral in Kutna Hora. We really enjoyed our visit. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance of the cathedral. We visited on a weekend and it was not that crowded at all.

This cathedral is absolutely gorgeous, and they have a fantastic, lengthy audio tour that is well worth your time, they really go into detail on the beautiful paintings and stained glass windows around the main altar.
It's a stunning cathedral, with so much history throughout. If you're making your way to Kutna Hora, don't miss St. Barbara's!

Totally breath taking outside and inside, this amazing cathedral worth it every minute you spend in there. Sister of Cathedral of Prague, perfect conserved with one of the beautiful vitralius i ever seen and impressive orga, i dont have words enough to describe how beautiful it is. You cand rich this site walking along a wonderful terrase merged by monumental statues, part of the Jesuit College. So if you want to take a trip outside the Prague, you shound not miss this place for sure.

This church is magnificent. It’s enormous and the craftsmanship is outstanding. Glad we added this to our destination on our last day in Prague. We joined a tour group but you can reach this by public transportation.

A beautiful cathedral with so much history. A must see when visiting Czech Republic. I visited as part of a tour and during the winter so there was no wait to get a ticket or enter the cathedral.

Beautiful cathedral inside and out. We got to spend about 30 minutes inside as part of our Viking Cruises tour. The stained glass windows stood out for me. They are beautiful and well done.

It is a UNESCO word heritage. It is one of the most famous gothic churches in central Europe. The construction began in 1388 but not been completed until 1905. The ticket is available at the information center. The architecture of the church is very beautiful inside and out. 1 hour is enough for the visit.

Saint Barbara's Church is a Roman Catholic church in Kutná Hora in the style of a cathedral, and is sometimes referred to as the Cathedral of St Barbara. It is one of the most famous Gothic churches in central Europe and it is a UNESCO world heritage site. St Barbara is the patron saint of miners, which was highly appropriate for a town whose wealth was based entirely upon its silver mines.

Very impressive architecture and very unique. I loved the paintings inside. They're very different. The figures on the organ were also beautiful. It was worth coming to Kutna Hora to see it.

Such a beautiful church. The frescos are uniquely not all religious, more depictions of daily life in a mining village. The architecture inside & out is a marvel to look at. Absolutely worth the day trip from Prague (highly recommended).

Probably one of the most beautiful cathedrals I've visited in all of Europe, I enjoyed it more than the Sagrada Familia. Not only is it gorgeous, it isn't crowded at all, which makes it way more enjoyable than other more popular cathedrals. A must of you come to Kutna Hora.

I love this place. This is one of my favorite places. The cathedral is in the Gothic style and is beautifully decorated inside and out. The cathedral is in a nice place with a view of the surroundings. Behind this building there are also nice gardens for walking or relaxing. I just love it here.

Very similar to St. Vitus cathedral in Prague but not as breathtaking. Very very pretty on the outside, but inside disappointed me tbh. I was expecting more. Anyway, still very pretty cathedral.

Very interesting tour. You are able go to the upper level of the cathedral which is rare

Stunning magnificence of pristine Gothic architecture in a magical setting with the vineyard and forest across the wine valley. The fog on the halloween morning was spectacular and added so much more auspiciousness to the site.
