Buchlov Castle

Nice castle, quite well known within the Czech Republic. They have several tours and even with kids of the age of 3 years you'll enjoy trip. Overall there are 3 main tours and then some more (but not so often) if I am not mistaken, there is one tour per 10-15 minutes.
You don't need to buy tickets in advance. Maybe just for weekends when there will be more people coming, but when I went there on mid august, there was still approximately 10 places left for each tour.
For English speakers, some tours will give you an English text so that's quite nice to have.
As for a pictures, our guide told us that we can take them, but we cannot use flashlight (even tho the sign right below stairs says no pictures at all). The guide we had knew really a lot, and was able to answer all questions we gave her.
As a bonus, there is a restaurant inside the castle. Not very big choice of food, but when you're hungry, you'll eat anything.

Castle is easy to access by car, parking cost 2 euros, than is line 5 min walk. You can have coffee at the premises, there is little art museum. Payment with credit card possible. Just 5 min from main road. Worth visit.

It's a fine place to relax during long way to Slovakia. The main building if the castle is built in Spain style.

Buchlov Castle is located on a top of hill in Buchlov with an amazing view from the palace. This Castle is not that old but sill has lot of history and it is well preserved.

Multiple tour options and wonderful interior. Castle is well accessible. Parking is almost directly under castle as well as restaurant and hotel. Tour tickets can be bought online.

Nice old castle, almodt cozy. Well maintained. Good energy.

We tried castle tour for children and it was great. Guide was very nice young miss in princess dress. She was great and all children enjoyed it.

A great tour for kids, one of the last this year. The crew did their best to keep the kids entertained.

Great tours. Have booklets that let you read along in each room. Brilliant history when you do the full tour. Well worth the entry fee. Even the food inside the castle is grest. Fresh homemade Czech food! Portions are for a Czech construction worker so might want to avoid the soup! Was happily stuffed!

Cool castle! Trails around the castle are worth a walk-through as well. You will find an old chapel and a stone on which "cert"(devil) sat.
My son and I had a great time, highly recommend it to all the families. There are a few restaurants, but be prepared to pay up. I suggest to bring your own snacks/lunch.

I love this place. Large parking. Beautiful landscapes, nature walks. Now closed due to COVID but when open, guided visit is definitely worth it.

Beautiful place. If you're traveling around and have enough time, don't forget to stop by. Excellent side views, interesting geo caches, great restaurants. Nice people.

Gothic castle from the 13th century with last major rebuilding done in the 15th century. The castle is very well preserved. The main tour is quite long but very interesting and ends at the tower with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. There is quite a lot of facilities at the castle including a restaurant.
