Blackdog Beroun

The class and elegance of this restaurant really pulled me in. I was walking along the street and I saw the floor to ceiling glass windows, the outside terrace for eating. The smiles on the patrons faces. That's all I needed to see. Upon entering I was greeted quickly and led to the bar. Miro the bartender was extremely helpful, friendly and gave good recommendations for beer and food. I returned later in the evening with my daughter. We ordered hamburgers and French fries. I recommend the Royal, not to spicy just perfect. Also, get the larger size portion, smaller for the little ones. Total cost for 2 with drinks 750 kc. The service was very prompt considering how full it was. All the server's and Miro spoke English. I can't wait to return to this establishment. I believe it to be one of the best restaurants in Beroun.

A wonderful surprise as we were expecting a bit 'Hard Rock' formula, but this place was much better. The food and burgers were well prepared and super tasty. The bar had an aging selection of drinks.
Service was awesome, very friendly, and the restaurant is modern and clean. Excellent option in Beroun.

Top burgers 🍔, top service, top shots and top beers! One of the top experiences in the Czech Republic! Hoghly recommend! And ask for craft beers and rare liquors such as Mexican special imports.

Delicious burgers and čokosmrt. Totally recommend. They say it’s the best burger in the Czech Republic and I don’t think it’s not far from the truth! Loved the bun, loved the meat and the fries was sooo nice. It was busy that evening and we waited quite a lot and for that we were given nachos on the house, that I found very lovely and overall the staff was nice, we were treated lovely.

We came two people without reservations at a pretty busy time and the staff quickly found us a place to sit at the terrace.
We're vegetarian , and we found very easily what to eat, and the food was really good and the desserts that we ordered were a really nice way to finish a very good meal.
All the staff were really nice, and we had great time!

Excellent food, great service and flatterning furnishings. This was by far the best barbeque-place I have ever been...the pulled pork was absolutely amazing and the chemistry of the two chefs really showed their passion for what they are doing. Loved the headbanging ;). Overall an absolute recommendation from me.

Possibly the best burger in the Czech Republic, and I’ve tried maaany of them!

This is established star between the burger bars. Burgers are juicy, tasty and you enjoy each and every bite.
Disadvantage is that this lovely restaurant is usually full even in non peak hours. Reservation suggested.

I had the American Dream Burger with glutenfree bun. Very tasty burger, perfectly cooked. Friendly and helpful staff. If I return to Beroun I'll definitely eat here again!

Wow, Halloween themed menu and staff in Fiesta de los muertes costumes was awesome! Add some juicy burgers with spicy coleslaw plus locally brewed coca cola and you have a place to put on your gourmet map! Worth the visit(s)!

This is a classic spot if you are visiting the flooded quarries, here you should stop by for a good TEXMEX. Definitely worth the visit if you are near by.

Very nice place to eat and drink. Burgers were delicious as were coffee and orange fresh. It's useful to make a reservation in advance because the restaurant is very popular.

saturday 3pm the restaurant was completely full, but we were seated at the bar table. the staff was extremely attentive and polite, taking time to get our order correctly and explain the items on the menu if needed (especially I appreciate the staff asking each customer how much the burger should be grilled with medium being the default option - other restaurants do not ask this question, so you might forget to specify your order if you are talking with someone for example).

the wait was long, but definitely worth it. simply the best burger i have ever had in czech republic - even worth the 50km bicycle ride from prague.

Definitely have to highlight that the restaurant is surprisingly welcoming to cyclists.

Excellent burger! Burger bun was so beautiful and fluffy. Waiters were really nice. They asked me if I want medium or well done. Taste of burger was just amazing. French fries are homemade. You can also order special sauces. Place is cozy and modern. I recommend you to visit this place!

American style restaurant in Beroun. Very friendly staff, reasonable prices and excellent burgers. Highly recommended!

We came for something small to eat and stayed for beer, gin and a lot to eat.

So while taking a bike trip through Czechia we also stopped in Beroun for one night and looked for a place to eat close to our camping spot. We found this Bar on Google and chose it because of their good reviews. We were not disappointed, the vegetarian burger is really good and our sides (Mac’n Cheese & Jalapeño-Fries) as well. What really let us stay a bit longer was their fine selection of gin and tonics of which we had a few.

What we also found really outstanding is their great service - personell is really attentive, we first had to sit at the bar because no free tables were left but as soon as one was free we got asked if we’d like to move. When we finished a drink it did not take long for them to come by and ask if we wanted a new one and the food was also delivered quick and without flaws.

Highly recommend it, would come back!

Absolutely delicious! Forgot to take pics of burgers- i was lost in the fire of the chilli inside it -- had the " jealous wife" burger!
