Fascinating and beautiful cave formations near the town of Beroun. There are some bones of prehistoric animals and the 40,000 year old Zlatý kůň woman. Bring a jacket, it's cold in the caves

Limestone caves, stalactites, and a good tour guide. Slippery surfaces, be careful.

It's really nice child friendly but not pram friendly place.
...and with the NS Zlatý Kůň walkway it is a cool full day program for a family. I can recommend.

Must see caves! Very close to Prague so make sure you don’t miss this opportunity to have around 600m long walk tour in 10’C within those amazing caves. New tourist center will be opened in 2023.

Koneprus cave is a very nice natural cave. Its well maintained. Also due to safety issues, it is not allowed to enter the cave without official guides. However the guides are very nice persons and it's very interesting too to know about the places inside and their origin. It's a must to visit place of Karlstejn.

Nice cave. The tour guide explained in Czech. But at the ticket counter written handbook is available in other languages. Inside was colder but definitely recommended to go.

It is easy enough to take train from Prague city to Koněpruské Caves. Once you exit the train the bus takes you over near the caves. Takes 2hrs mainly. You still have to walk 20mins flat and up little hill to reach the caves. Then 170 crowns $7:50usd guide speaks mainly Czech but will speak English after he explains to others. It’s a good experience for what your getting. I’ve seen many caves in my life so far this ones good.

Great fun activity even for kids, especially on a hot day. The tour is about 50 minutes a d the advertised 10.5 °C don't seem to be right. We did in shorts and a long sleeve shirt. If you come by a car there is a small fee paid in cash only.

This was a nice activity with the family on a hot summer day. Access to the caves is only possible with a guide. Tours start fairly frequently but count on waiting a bit before getting started. The guide was friendly and welcoming. Being a jacket and perhaps light pants as the caves are a constant 10 degrees C so it can get chilly during the hour long tour. Also be aware that there are quite a few stairs and wet paths.

45 minutes trip in the cave with guide. Nice interior. Around the cave is natural area with a lot of opportunities for hiking, visit of limestone quarry or paleontologic site.

The caves are extremely interesting and the history lesson was amazing.
I completely recommend the experience, and even if I've seen some reviews asking for english tours, I had a very great guide that even though the tour was in czech, she took the time to also explain in english (I also had the english support on the side).
Really glad I managed to get there and enjoy the caves and the outside views.

Great place to visit when it's warm very nice caves with long history. The entrance overlooks a nearby quarry which is also a great place to walk. The parking is not free! You have to pay 50kč even when you are visiting the caves. This is not a lot but when we visited they only accepted cash.

The caves are astonishing and our guide Karolína was amazing. The total visit is about 60-90 minutes. It wasn't as cold as I thought it'd be, although it was really hot outside. Don't wear pants that are too long or too wide, you'll wipe all the stairs with them and end up very muddy.

Visiting the caves was a wonderful experience! We were the only ones not speaking the language, but we could rent a Dutch info folder. Our tour guide Theresa was an angel. She took the time to explain some interesting facts in English for us in private that were not on the folder and really included us in the tour. The caves themselves and the history behind them were very beautiful and interesting. After the tour Theresa taught us more on Dutch/Czech history which we loved and we also really enjoyed the fossil hunt which was possible to do after the tour! We found some nice shell fossils. All in all would totally recommend to visit the caves!

I would like to give credit to the young lady guide. the tour was amazing, with a great atmosphere. we will definitely be building again in a few years and I will hope to meet the same guide as now. I hope the caves continue to thrive and continue to be staffed and managed by people as they are now 💯

Good explanation if everything important. English and German handbooks available as well as an app with the descriptions. Tour guide and sales person were very friendly. Even though I don't speak Czech.
