Villa Tomasa

We had a lovely stay at Casa Tomasa at the beginning of January. This was one of the most memorable places in Cuba for us. The whole family was so nice to us and welcoming. Every morning they prepared a nice breakfast for us which we enjoyed while taking in the view of the breath taking Mogote. We had a lot of good conversations, even though our Spanish was very limited. In the beautiful garden you can see hummingbirds flying around and you can enjoy the wonderful collection of stones and fossils that Tomasa’s husband collected from all over the world. Nice to see, but also educational! The room had everything we needed such as a bathroom and refrigerator, was very clean, and there was a mosquito bed on every bed. We couldn’t recommend this place more for anyone visiting Viñales!
