Vinales Botanical Garden

Very nice garden with lots of plants and tress, some very old and impressive. You can have a tour of the place and then leave a donation. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is the kind of place I wish I'd see more of in Cuba, as it has so much diverse nature. The food cost 10€ pp at the time we visited. It was real delicious comida criolla at generous amounts. We loved everything

Totally recommended. John gave us an amazing explanation of the plants and fruits that they have. Then we tried some natural juices. The place is maintained with lots of love and effort.

A historic botanic garden at the end of the High Street in the town of Viñales. Lots of flowering plants and trees, despite some damage from the hurricane in September 2022. There is no entrance fee but a donation is helpful for the upkeep. We hoped to see hummingbirds but unfortunately didn't, however we were lucky to see Turkey vultures which seem to roost in the trees over night. A good place to spend an hour!

The best experience we had in the town limits of Vinales. The guides were friendly, well versed and spoke Spanish, English, French, some Italian, German, and more. The garden had a lovely range of local flora and was well kept. It was all completely free; donations were well in order, however. Great for young and old, garden fanatics and indoor people– any way you look at it it was a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.

This place is my favorite local spot. You can visit with parrots and a jutia, see local fruit growing including cacao, and there's a cheap and well-stocked bar inside. The guide is entertaining and educational, if you opt for an informal tour.

Amazing place, a well-maintained lovely private botanical garden, a very savvy guide, all in all a fabulous experience, we are happy to have visited it! We will definitely go back when we are back in the area! There is no entry fee, but a donation at the end of the tour is appreciated!

Beautiful, small garden with a knowledgeable guide. It was pretty affected by the hurricane on our visit, but it's clear that it was beautiful and lush before. As a family run not for profit, it could use as much help as possible from visits and contributions at the end of the tour.

this is a beautiful garden in viñales! our tour guide spoke English very well and gave us a really interesting and informative experience. we learned so much about the plants, climate, and culture of the region! it's a family run garden and they operate on a donation basis so its pay-what-you-can. they also have a casa particular on-site which I would love to stay in next time. I highly recommend visiting this garden when in viñales!

What a blast! Roberto's tour was engaging, informative and fun!

Lovely countryside and community of people. We visited two local tobacco farms and we did horse riding. Both were great experiences.

Loved learning about the flora and fauna of Pinar del Rio.
