Guesthouse Cabaña Manzana

We stayed at Manzana’s cabin in 2016.
Manzana is amazing! She’s been hosting folks at the cabin for years and also has a room to offer in her own house. She will also provide a specialty dinner (whole fish with sides and salad) if you’d like. If you speak Spanish, you might have a long and heartfelt conversation with her after dinner about all things life in Cuba.
The cabin is minimalist, but has everything you need; it almost has a yurt camping feel to it.
The area is stunning, lots do to (hiking, tobacco and coffee farms, bat caves, handmade goods market). Locals are very nice and friendly.

I staid there in 2016. The family is amazing and super nice. They helped us with the visit. And the food was delicious. The best food we had in Cuba (nice and affordable full meal: lobster, fish, papaya etc). And the view for breakfast was amazing.

Le dîne pour 10€ par personne est vraiment top. La terrasse face aux mogottes est tout simplement incroyable. Les chambres propres avec eaux chaudes dans les douches. Sûrement note meilleure casa à Cuba.

Zoek niet verder, dit is een perfect verblijf in Viñales. Met veel dank aan mevrouw Appel, die ons met veel zorg ontving en hielp met alle vragen die we hadden. Naast de gastvrouw is het grote pluspunt hier de locatie: aan het eind van het dorp heb je een weids uitzicht op het platteland en de mogotes vanuit je sfeervolle losstaande houten gastenverblijf! Beter wordt het niet :)

Un superbe accueil de Manzana et sa famille!
Un emplacement idéal avec une vue imprenable sur les mogotes. Une convivialité exemplaire (on a presque l'impression de faire partie de la famille) et surtout réservez au minimum un repas pour goûter à sa sublime langouste.
Donc un grand merci à toi Manzana pour ta bonne humeur et ton accueil.

Manzana (pomme en espagnol ;-)) nous a accueilli de façon très familiale. On a l'impression que tout le village passe chez elle le soir, qui est pourtant tout au bout du bout du village ;-) face aux Mogotes (ces pains de sucre si caractéristiques de la Valle de Viñales). Nous logions dans la Cabane et étions réveillés par les chants des coq. Dépaysant ! Et le repas préparé par Manzana était délicieux !

Este ES el lugar en Viñales, no hay que buscar más. Hay una cabaña con la mejor vista de todo el Valle y dos habitaciones más con todas las comodidades. La familia te recibe y atiende como a uno más, Manzana y Alfredo son los mejores anfitriones. Manzana tiene todos los contactos necesarios para suplir todas las necesidades de actividades y transporte que se puedan desear. Además es un lugar súper recomendado para ir con niños. Este es sin dudas el mejor lugar de Viñales, por mucho.

I have spent a handful of days in October 2013 with Manzana and her family. Real special feel, this country cabin accommodation. And then, lying in the hammock, the stunning country side view, especially early morning and at sunset. One could not find a better place to stay in Viñales than with this family.
