Finca Media Luna

A tranquil and beautiful setting surrounded by nature. Julio, a person of great friendliness and easygoing nature, went out of his way to assist us with various tasks and provided us with all the essential information we needed. His proficiency in English is noteworthy and not something commonly encountered. Julio aided us in obtaining fuel, arranged a horseback trip around Vinales, and shared valuable insights about Cuba and life in the area. Highly recomended for everyone!

Our last 3 days were highlight of the trip around Cuba

Beautiful place in paradise. Right in the middle of the Viñales countryside. The rooms are huge with very tasteful and natural decor, incredibly clean, with a money box in the room, and a nice hot shower. The site is very quiet and peaceful and has a great restaurant area that is great for sundown. The chef cooks an amazing breakfast and dinner, enough food to feed about 10 people at a great price. She was also very kind and patient with my non existent Spanish. The owner and his son run the place and are really helpful and interesting to chat to. They’ll recommend and organise activities in the area such as tours, horse riding, walking and salsa lessons. They also have a place in town if you prefer being near the restaurants and other stuff but I preferred it here. Only 5km to the town which you can walk or get a taxi easily. Would recommended taking at least 3 nights, I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

Het verblijf in Finca Media Luna was geweldig! Julio is zeer vriendelijk en heeft me enorm geholpen om alles te zien in de omgeving. De accomodatie is zeer nieuw en schoon. Het verblijf is ruim, het ontbijt en avondeten is perfect. De locatie is fantastisch, midden in de natuur! Het is rustig en de staff is zeer vriendelijk en warm. Ik kom zeker terug!
