Villa Cerise

Nice little ABNB just south of Purto Viejo in Costa Rica.

The house is not well-marked, but it does have a security gate and you can easily find it on Google Maps. Parking is in the front and can comfortably park 3 or 4 average sized cars.

The house has 5 bedrooms, each with their own air-conditioning unit, all joined by a main living room. The two rooms on the opposite sites of the house have their own bathroom, while the remaining three share a common bathroom. Wifi is also available.

The kitchen and dining areas are on the large, covered, back porch surrounded by rain-forest growth. There is also a sitting area and Foosball table. A refrigerator, stove, grill, microwave and sink, including a filtered water fount with both hot and cold water.

A semi-paved trail leads to a private beach. This path is NOT wheelchair accessible, and is difficult to traverse if you have mobility issues. However, there is plenty of flaura and fauna to see along the path, including howler monkeys, a wide variety of birds, insects and plant life.

The owner is friendly and attentive, willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Very good place. There are several translators: french, german, English...

Beautiful place tucked away discretely in the jungle. We had a wonderful stay here and I highly recommend for anyone who would like an authentic experience.

Great house for large groups close to the beach and town.

Lugar divino, con acceso directo a Playa Chiquita, simplemente hermoso. Muy bonito, tranquilo, la atención excelente y las instalaciones perfectas.

Un lugar hermoso

Excellent Costa Rica experience.

El lugar ya esta un poco pasado de años, la cocina está en la interperie, los cuartos son decentes con aire acondicionado.. los baños les hace falta más limpieza..
De resto la experiencia con la naturaleza y la playa casi privada es muy bonita experiencia...

El lugar está bonito pero si siento que debería tener un mejor mantenimiento ya que los baños no estaban bien muchas cosas reparadas por salir del paso o que no funcionan bien.

Otro tema importante es el tamaño de la cocina, era muy pequeño como para un grupo grande de personas.

When told you need to bring your own toilet paper you begin to question what is actually included at this Airbnb. As a super host myself, a little effort goes a long way to make a stay comfortable. With three bathrooms, you need to supply all shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc. There is no face clothes but at least the bedding was included. There was hardly any water and our family of 10 had to do mostly without showers. There is plenty of water in town so excuses about the dry season seem unjustified. The kitchen is too small for a large family, we got ourselves trapped in one bedroom as the door handle doesn't work. One toilet leaks 24/7 - doesn't that waste the little water we have? Pool floor boards are very uneven, internet extremely slow, no house instruction manual, area information or anything. A little effort could make this stay so much more comfortable: like inlcuding a few foldable beach chairs and day cooler as it is several minutes walking to the beach, perhaps a measuring cup in the kitchen.

I even had to add the place to Google maps myself and post photos. Needless to say, it's poorly managed.
